What is the width of these yard sticks?

I ordered these for my science classes to measure the volume of our classroom in meters after reading they were 39.5” in length which would convert to an actual meter stick of 100 cm. However, I was sent a pack of yardsticks.. only 36” I had to change my lessons due to being sent the wrong item. Too bad because the price of these are significantly less than the meter sticks I see for sale that are actually meter sticks 39”/100cm. I hope someone would sell actual meter stick, 100cm, at a teacher friendly price.

I am not sure since I don't have the packaging anymore. They are nice and straight and rugged though.
