Does what it's supposed to.
Does work. FYI it'll stay on all the time but draws little power. I had no hard starts after letting it sit 3 days in the winter, so doesn't really seem to be a problem.

Plug and play.
Works as advertised. The only annoyance is the lights .

Works great.
I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado. Transmission in this model shift back and forth on it’s over to somehow give u better gas mileage. Well it’s to hard on the transmission and caused my torch converter to go out so that was a heafty bill. I looked into having the switch taken out to make it stop switching gears so much then I found this. It stays in v8 all the time now. Doesn’t bother me at all. I love it and it works great 😊

It works and that's what matters
Like everyone else I got this to disable the AFM on a 5.3 2011 Yukon XL (211k miles). It does as it says and vehicle remains in V8 mode. I've got a few hundred miles on it and all seems to be going well. Engine is smoother, seems to have less piston knock on startup and highway mileage has hand calc'd at 24mpg with this installed.I have not had an issue with battery drain leaving it connected with vehicle sitting in low teen temps outside garage for several days...YMMVIf you have an AFM vehicle I would recommend this.

Works but intermittently!
This disabler does work, but not all the time. I own a 2016 chevy silverado LT. I installed this in the obd2 port and it lights up fine, it just chooses when to work. Example: I wanted to be able to drop my pickup in drive and go without worrying about the dreaded gm afm. It works fine until 3rd or 4th gear and then, once again, under light throttle it will slip into afm. Lights still lit on the plug... The important part for me was being able to be in my 6th and final gear in my truck so I can still go down the highway at speed. It does fine in 6th gear at 65-70mph, I could never get it to "accidentally" slip into afm.

Works great and priced right!
Bought this to hopefully avoid engine damage from GMs 'great' idea of kicking down to 4 cylinders in my Silverado.Just plug it in and go!Does what its supposed to. And it was priced lower than most.Overall, great investment.
