I’ve been using these probiotics for over six months now, and they have completely changed the game for my dog. She’s a Miniature Schnauzer who just turned 3, and if you know the breed, you know how notoriously sensitive their stomachs can be. We actually started these on our vet's recommendation. She ate something she definitely shouldn’t have, which led to an awful round of vomiting and diarrhea. After a year of use, I can confidently say this product has helped keep my dogs’ consistency of good healthy bowel movements and digestive systems healthy and balanced. Proviable DC and KC have been a total game changer for my dog’s digestive health. I adopted a couple of kittens at 9 weeks old and they had diarrhea. I fed them the same food they ate in foster care and I had them checked with the vet who ruled out parasites and illness. Apparently it is not that uncommon for young kittens to experience diarrhea after moving into a new environment. They still ate well and had a ton of chaotic kitten energy. The vet suggested a prebiotic so I ordered this. It is very simple to use. It comes in a capsule. At the time the kittens were eating dry food, so I portioned a very small amount in their bowls, misted it was a small amount of water to make it stick, then twisted apart the capsules and sprinkled it on their food. The powder is odorless and tasteless, so they had no problem eating this on their food, they didn't even give it the side-eye as cats are prone to do with ANYTHING even remotely different with their food. Within a few days their stools were less watery and less frequent, within a week their stools firmed up and there qere less in the littlerbox, and by the end of two weeks we had perfectly formed stools. I bought another box just in case they needed it when I started adding wet food to their diet. I recommend this if you have a kitten, or cat, with tummy troubles, it is easy and effective.

Finally a vet (a second opinion - different company/vet) that believed me when I said that I was not overfeeding Gabe! The chief complaints, along with Gabe being hungry all the time, was his aggression towards me because I refused to overfeed him. Despite this, his weight exploded from 16 pounds to 21 pounds in less than 1 year. Gabe is 24" long and 16 1/2 inches tall so about 3 pounds overweight. 2nd vet said this is because his body is not absorbing the nutrients in his food and his current bloodwork and bloodwork from a year ago proved this to her, as his WBC, Mono, lymph, and others have been way below the normal range now for 2 years. His body temp being quite low is further evidence but I ordered some self heating blankets/pads for him, along with an 80 count box of Nutramax Proviable today! He is just over 2 now. ask your search engine this, "What does soy inhibit the body from absorbing", and you will be surprised yourself. The vet prescribed/recommended this product and I have to say, I am quite impressed and ecstatic about the results I have seen. If I could give it 10 stars I would! This is a product that Gabe will be using for a very long time as the soy he had been consuming in his pet food for the past year has greatly damaged his intestinal track too. He is now on a cat food that does not have any soy in it and Proviable. What amazed me the most was this observation: by the 3rd day of Gabe getting this product, Gabe was not begging for more food after he was done eating; when he was hungry, he came and let me know, I was able to get him to wait until it was time to eat, (he is on a schedule), and he did not get aggressive with me! Impatient, yes, I could see that, but he didn't jump on me to bite me! I can say that after the 7th day, I can firmly attest that Gabe has not attacked or bit me even one time and has not displayed any impatience in getting his food!!!! I am not exaggerating about how aggressive he used to be. I have pictures and even had to get a tetanus shot because of some of the injuries I sustained because of his aggressiveness over food. Gabe has a follow up appt late August and I can see that he has lost weight already! Gabe is so much fun now, so loving and playful, he is a totally different cat!!! Apparently when an animal is starving, their bodies will retain everything they consume as a way to protect itself and easily become obese! I heard about this but never actually believed it - until now! He did not like the powder contents on his dry food alone, don't know if he smells an odor but I cannot. I am not physically able to get a pill down his throat, so I mix the contents of 1 capsule with a 5-6 grams of (approx 1/2 of a squeeze up) of the Delectables made by Hartz, non seafood recipe; he now comes to me every morning, right on schedule, and waits for his "medicine". The capsules are soft and easy to empty, the contents of the capsules appear to be consistent in quality and quantity. I have to get my fingers a tad wet, enough for my old arthritic hands to hold onto the smooth capsule to open to mix the contents. I like each capsule is in it's own bubble especially since I live in a high humidity environment. It is nice that I can get a box of 80 and save some money considering Gabe is going to be one this product for at least 1 year, maybe longer. He is mixed with a large/giant breed an is not fully grown yet, according to the vet.

Best probiotic I have ever used! I had issues finding a probiotic because my cat won’t let me sprinkle things on his food. I had to find an alternative so I would be able to give him a pill. My boy had contracted cryptosporidium from our kitten which threw off his GI tract completely. He had FIV so he is having a hard time self eliminating the parasite. He was having loose stools and was extremely gassy. I gave him the probiotic for 3-5 days and he completely regulated. He has been on the up and up ever since he started it. I am so impressed with the product. It is also not insanely expensive like other probiotics. I will continue to keep my boys in this. It has been such a game changer and I am so relieved that it regulated my kitty!

My poodle x Lhasa apso was really struggling with persistent gastritis and vomiting froth in the early hours. Using one capsule of this a day on one of his four daily feeds has worked wonders, and he has only been sick once in about 5 months whereas it used to be a very frequent occurrence. He wouldn't eat the pastes like Protexin, so finding these I can sprinkle on his food has been a real boon.

They seem to be more effective at balancing my pomskies delicate tummy

It's a shame that vets in Canada (at least in Toronto) don't carry nutramax, my kitten has been having diarrhea for a while and our vet gave us fortiflora. It helped alittle bit but the amount of animal digest in it upset my cat's very sensitive stomach (he can't even eat treats). It only had one strain of bacteria, and no guaranteed analysis anywhere, not even online. I did a little research and found nutramax proviable, this is pretty decent price for 80 capsules, and it's worked wonders for my kitten, now he has relatively normal stool. I was worried because this being a probiotic has the chance for bacteria loss in bad weather during shipping but the shipping was very fast and arrived a few days early and in great condition.
