Why does only one pair of underwear have a tag on it?

It seems they get name brands wholesale and cut off the tags to re sell them. I didn’t mind because I replaced my entire underwear drawer. I cut off the tags myself anyway *for better comfort* I noticed some really good brands in the bulk that I received.
