Scottish Dirk SGIAN DUBH Knife Hand Forged Damascus Steel Blade Custom Handmade Rose Wood Handle with Leather Sheath, Brown, Black and Silver

This will be a great addition to my kilt ensemble, for both formal and everyday wear. Is this item functional? I have no idea. It is for ceremonial use, so I'm not worried if it holds an edge. But y'all, this blade is beautiful. The Damascus honestly looks like it was made with either bicycle or chainsaw chain. It is gorgeous. The sheath is well made, the stitches are neat (and the ends burnt off), the one-piece handle is nice wood and well finished, and it came all plastic wrapped and heavily oiled. I had to wipe it off before I handled it. If you don't know, that's a very good thing.

The knife came sharp the handle looked like polished walnut which I liked and some reviews said the sheath didn't fit I found if you push the knife all the way in the sheath it doesn't feel loose or fall out great knife for the money

This is a great wee knife for keeping in your sock. It’s compact and razor sharp. It is not WiFi compatible nor does it have reclining seats but it’s awesome for the price. Definitely recommended for cutting an English redcoat. Good luck

Beautiful sgian. Blade can be sharpened to an edge and holds pretty well! The handle is a bit fat on the sides. It’s fine for belt-carry, it presses into your leg in traditional sock-carry. Needs to be slimmer on the sides. Knife comes with a nice belt sheath. But, too bulky for sock-carry unless you cut off the belt loop, which I did. Size is good. Quality is very good. Nice and stable and fairly-well-balanced. With a couple of slight mods, this would be an exceptional sgisn dubh for this great price!

Bought this to wear while kilted and I have to say, despite some of the other reviews, I'm quite happy. The knife itself if quite attractive for the price. The sheath is simple but fits snug and covers the full blade. It is a bit long for a sgian dubh, but it will be in my sock, so no big deal there.. 😉

Looked nice at first but the blade quickly tarnished and now has a brown rust on it. Also worth noting that the sheath had a belt attachment at the top which was not pictured. Can't recommend this item at all.
