Honestly, I've been searching for months for a simple advent calendar that captures the retro Christmas vibe we've got going this year. Our tree has original mid-century ornaments from my husband's mother's collection, so finding this particular calendar made me pretty darn happy. I'll frame it and then hang it up for all to see.

This kind of Advent Calendar has been a tradition in our family for many, many years. So much better than the ones that have chocolate in them. Love the fact that each time you open one of the little windows, they have the story that comes with them.

I always look for a traditional advent calendar every year and this one has to be the nicest I’ve had by far! Lovely picture on the front and when you open the doors, you get a verse from T’was The Night Before Christmas and a really nice corresponding illustration behind each door. Have thoroughly enjoyed opening each door and plan to read the whole story on Christmas Eve.
