While I can't attest to whether balanced audio from the DAC sounds better than the 3.5 I can say that that the volume is high enough to not have to add additional boost. Knowing that the power output is higher on the 4.4 port I knew I'd have to use that. When I tried on 3.5, sure enough it wasn't enough and I had to turn on the additional gain button. Using this cable and the 4.4 balanced port worked like a charm.More on the cable, the quality feels top notch. I had no issue with the connectors. Everything feels like quality. Zero issues with the sound. It sounds the same as the stock cable. For what it's worth I bought a $150 cardas cable and that also sounds exactly the same. I either don't have an ear for the subtle difference in these cables or there is no difference. So I'm completely with happy with them and highly recommend them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Cable! *by on Reviewed in the United States 15 February 2022* Beautiful to look at and hold. This cable is a very nice upgrade over the factory cable. Really dresses up your headphones and the wood accents is a really nice touch. They sound excellent. I did not detect any degrading/change of sound signature as I have with other non factory cables. In fact I think these have just a touch more sparkle and vibrancy. I will definitely order more of these for my headphone collection. ### ⭐⭐⭐ My honest opinion *by on Reviewed in the United States 5 October 2025* I had it for a year , the left connection started to static or lose sound . The wiring and cover start ti feel loose and lost quality feel . I ended up ordering a different brand overall cuz it’s a common complaint about losing sound over time . ## Frequently Bought Together - NewFantasia 4.4mm Balanced Male 6N OCC Copper Silver Plated Cord 4.4mm Balanced Cable Compatible with Sennheiser HD650, HD600, HD580, HD660S, HD58X, Massdrop HD6XX Headphone Walnut Wood Shell - FiiO K7 Desktop DAC and Amplifier - Sennheiser Consumer Audio HD 600 Open Back Professional Headphone, Black, Wired --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/472620135-newfantasia-4-4mm-balanced-male-6n-occ-copper-silver-plated](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/472620135-newfantasia-4-4mm-balanced-male-6n-occ-copper-silver-plated) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
