How long will is stay on and will it Damage the clear coat if in direct sunlight?

I've been using this product for years. I recommend putting it on in direct sunlight as it dries much quicker. Apply at least 2 good coats. Leave a thick, clean beaded edge when you roll it on. The thicker it goes on the easier it comes off. It will not damage your clear coat. I left it on a car for 6 months through a Montana winter just to see how long it would last. Took it through a brushless car wash monthly. At 6 months it was looking kind of ratty. Used a pressure washer and it came off easily.

Can it be sprayed on?
