Great amount, great quality, fish like it, cat likes it.
The media could not be loaded. Ok, first off when I find a seller that meets requirements consistently, I try to order from them first so good job seller. Now onto the review. These are actual freeze dried shrimp. They are fairly large. Many of my fish attack the crap out of these when I drop them in, but you can only upload one video to show it.The video is of my 2 puffers tearing into them. My puffers are spoiled, so they are picky. If they dont eant something the will watch it sink and not touch it or they will look at it and I have to scoop it out. They are butts. So they approve lol. They smell like shrimp, so if the smell bothers you, then you know its actual shrimp lol. There is a good amount for the price. Try buying freeze dried shrimp in a store and it's about 3 times the price for this amount. Even my land catfish (our cat) comes running when I open them up and stands there meowing until I give her a few lol. So most of my fish like it, the cat likes it, so they seem like a great treat or occasional food for my fish (and cat I guess lol). So ill order again once it runs out.

I too, was skeptical
When in hand the jar was very light,I thought I may have wasted enough money to make one think harder. And as if to prove my doubt demons right, when I tossed a fistfull into the Koi Pond I got a very luke-warm reaction. So I didnt even try to offer it again for a week or so. The Koi must have needed time to let the dried shrimp hydrate a bit, as the second exposure got an enthusiastic welcome. They didnt gobble it down but they big guys all gathered under the foo corral waited, a few minutes later they attacked like starving dogs on hamburger !My only gripe is the cost.Whales too eat krill, can you image that ?

Don't buy this product.
Don't buy this product. I have been in the aquarium hobby for 55 years. I am well associated with the aroma of various types of fish foods and aquariums. I was attracted to these shrimp because of the low price. Upon feeding the fish in my 165 gallon tank these shrimp just once, and very moderately, I was forced to do a 50% waterchange just because of the smell that came from my tank. I have double 5 stage filters with uv, and a large sponge filter rated for a 120 gallon aqarium with a huge power head on top. I change my water monthly and never overfeed. Nothing could get the smell of this product out of my tank water. It wouldn't go away except for the large water change. I should have spent a lot more money and bought tetra brand for $50. Fair warning.

These shrimps are larger than others I’ve got from US pet stores
Specimens are a little more mature...So bigger and potentially more sharp/hard parts on them. Definitely not good (whole) for teeny tiny turtles but my 5 inch juvenile Painted handled most of them okay (the size varies- I even found one ‘big’ [2”?] shrimp in the jar😆.I imagine these would be fantastic for outdoor fish, as intended. They didn’t seem ‘as’ stinky as the others I’ve bought...which actually lead me to think that the major US brands {NOT THIS PRODUCT} are probably adding all kinds of crap to them...Not to mention all my turtles we’re not getting proper nutrition when the US brands of freeze-dried (mini)shrimp were a staple of their diet...they became Vitamin A deficient and suddenly had serious eye issues. Hard lesson learned. The other brands I’ve gotten (Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus) look like they’re freeze dried…But these actually just look like shrimp- that are dried 🤔 hard to explain... they just look different; they look REAL, and have substance to their bodies unlike the others that just look like outer shell [skin].These are a paler pink and NOT translucent.US brands I’ve bought (3 different), or seen; are redder, and have a translucent quality to them...like a ‘shell’ with little substance.🤔After visiting all the stores to search for a deal on dried shrimp, and then looking online, and scouring Amazon... I landed on this container because it was the largest amount for the best price. I couldn’t even really find bigger amounts like this container offers. I quickly realized it made sense to search for ‘Koi’ food -knowing Koi being primarily an Asian thing- so I even searched that somewhat extensively as well; even using the actual origin names of the Asian fish😋 hoping to find a cheaper overseas option since these things are SOOO marked up here.Point? 🙄 Just get these lol save yourself lots of time. Unless you need teeny tiny ones for some reason- then seek another product, or see if running them in a foot processor could do the trick 🤷🏼♀️

Great Quality
These shrimp are much larger than standard krill fish food. Small amount of shrimp dust and few broken shrimp. The container is screw on lid, this critical to keep moisture out. I’m very please with this product and will buy again.

Lots of large shrimp at a great price, but the quality is just adequate
My picky eaters will only eat live or frozen food, with the exception of JumboKrill, which they love. JumboKrill is pricey, I was hoping this could be a replacement, but they refuse to eat it. The freeze dry process used is inferior to JumboKrill, these are a bit mushy, not nearly as crisp. The scavengers love it, goldfish, koi, cichlids, but they will all eat pellets, so I will not reorder when it's gone.
