Grandes Galettes Butter Cookies Biscuits with Sea Salt 5.29oz, Pack of 6, Made in France, Non-GMO Pure Butter Cookies

I pride myself to be a connoisseur and I truly enjoy good food. I guess I was utterly spoiled because from a young age for some strange reasons both my parents loved to try different types of food, taking us to different restaurants though we were not exactly rich, but they always know where to find delicious food that were affordable. My maternal grandpa, owned one of the most distinguished restaurant in Hong Kong during 60s-70s, yet they would only buy the best dishes from each of the well known restaurants and then had a big feast with us and our numerous uncles, aunts, tons of cousins. My mother, under the tutelage of her father, was an excellent cook. I believe she could cook better than many so called Iron chefs. In short, my siblings and I were totally spoiled on our tastes for food and therefore we can become easily disappointed with today’s many mediocre restaurants or food items. Therefore, after tasting so many so called butter cookies, this one, IMHO, may be the Best one that wete not home made. When you put one of these cookies in your mouth, its sweetness and rich butter taste would make you feel the richness of earth, then mix it with a touch of sea salt in the cookies, all of a sudden all these flavors bursted in my palate and brought tears to my eyes. Life is still good after all and before I know it I astonishingly found that I had devoured the whole box of nine butter cookies. So be warned, these cookies can be truly addictive.

Love these delicious cookies. Just the right combination, not too sweet, just perfection!

UPDATE: The most recent order of these arrived as a full case, packed in its own St. Michel cardboard carton of 6, and that inside a cardboard Amazon box. The cookies inside are perfect, not a crack in the lot, and to boot the price went down to under $30. Still a bit pricey, but I haven't seen them less anywhere else and they are sooo good. The sea-salt bit just really sets off the other cookie flavors and is big yum :) So these are on my subscribe and save list now. Great move getting the shipping right! --- I REALLY love these cookies. I would buy more except they cost about 50 cents apiece and that just seems high to me for a cookie. But the sea salt bit makes these really distinctive and I would definitely buy them again as a treat. Unfortunately probably eight of the nine cookies per package are likely to be cracked into three or four pieces with associated crumbs given the shipping, so the experience is not quite as nice as if you bought them in a store.

love the cookies but they were all SMASHED into pieces. I wrote the shipper to no avail There is NO cushioning for the box and it is mailed just in a regular envelpe mailer so what to do? love the cookies but they were all smashed and we have ordrered a few times from this shipper and they won't modify the container so we prob have to say goodbye---and at TEN DOLLARS a box!!

Best cookie ever.

We had over 10” of rain last night when the delivery was made. Outer card board box was soaked so i could easily opeen it with my hands-inside box also wet and easy to open. Several of the cookie boxes were wet but thanks to the cellophane mini bags the cookies were dry & delicious! How about training your drivers to put deliveries in a plastic bag when delivering in the rain? Cookies are delicious, three in a bag helps limit consumption and keeps all fresh.
