I know nothing about law, taxes, or personal business. This was a great book that could explain things where they are easily understandable. Great for someone just starting out.

Being a single company without an LLC is not good, especially when you are all alone running your own business. If someone decides to sue you they can take everything, but having a company and registering with your state as an LLC, if you ever run into a problem and get sued, only your business will not you and your personal things! So buy the book and study well and follow everything that your business needs as an LLC. Congrats on having a business and upgrading to an LLC. Trust me, you going to feel so good you did.

Definitely one to pick up for the LLC info you seek. There are a million books and resources out there. This is concise and easy to read.

This book is very informative and a great read for those of us who is looking into starting a business and don’t know what to do. It doesn’t necessarily explain how to run a business, but all the you need to do to get started and what is expected from the IRS from your business. I am definitely more knowledgeable about where to go, what I need, and who to talk too to get started.

Learning just how simple it is to set up a single-member LLC justified the purchase of this book. But learning about the 20% tax deduction was almost priceless.

If you know nothing about running a small business, then this may be the book for you. It gives very basic info and that's it. If you are looking for a book to show you how to make creative and aggressive deductions and how to pay less in taxes, then skip this book.
