Tested the hell out of this with the scales yesterday. It works fantastically with a 5-turn half-blood knot (12.1lb average breaking); and pretty good with figure-8 loop (11.5lb average breaking). Not such a good line for standard grinner/uni knot (10.8lb average breaking), and for trilene knot it was very difficult to get it to cinch properly without compromising the line, only managed to get a couple of double-figure results around 11lb before I gave up; it's not really cut-out for that knot I don't think, even with a ton of saliva and painfully slow, it just slips and damages the line too much, no matter how many times I try -- maybe a more talented tier or knots can get something out of it? I think it's coated in something pretty firm, making it a bit meh for knots that loop around the eye. Anyway, for half-bloods and figure-8 it seems like the dog's danglies, the Berkley team have done a remarkable job selecting whatever copolymer they used for this market.

I’ve been using the Berkley Sick Nylon fishing line for a few trips now, and it’s excellent. The strength and tension are impressive—it handles big catches without any issues. The line is smooth, which makes casting and reeling effortless, and it doesn’t twist or tangle easily. It’s also very abrasion-resistant, which is great when fishing around rocks or rough terrain. Dadurch lassen sich Köder präzise führen und Bisse werden sauber übertragen, ohne dass das Material zu steif wirkt. Die Schnur liegt ruhig auf der Rolle, macht keine Schlaufen und lässt sich gut werfen. Gerade beim Spinnfischen merkt man die kontrollierte Dehnung positiv – genug Puffer im Drill, aber trotzdem sehr direkt im Kontakt zum Köder. Die Qualität ist insgesamt top, abriebfest und zuverlässig auch nach mehreren Einsätzen. Für mich eine sehr gelungene Monofilschnur, die hält, was sie verspricht. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die eine hochwertige Nylon‑Schnur mit wenig Drall suchen! 🎣

Es el hilo que más uso, resistente, y no alerta mucho a los peces en zonas muy frecuentadas, obviamente se puede ver pero es bastante útil, actualmente lo uso en 3 de mis cañas siendo una de ellas la principal, con muy buenos resultados y mejor de lo esperado.
