Sandbags are a LOT of work. We filled some a few years ago for floods that never came. Lots of effort in the install and then the removal. And they just hang around. there are still people with them in their yards. Anyway, this alternative is much more portable, quicker to deploy and much quicker to drain and put away. then, it can be reused whenever and wherever needed (assuming you have access to water that can fill it. It's good construction and the PVC fabric welds seem strong and it doesn't absorb water so it dries quickly. Overall, if you had to do sand bags once, it's worth it. But twice...all day long!
