For starters I will say I live in SE Texas, and we get pretty hot down here. I mainly wanted something to cover my arms so I don't tan or burn. Since I'm pretty light complected I either tan, or I'll either burn. I don't want to do either so I looked for sleeves. These claim to provide a cooling effect. Of course I was skeptical. I usually like black but black tends to absorb heat more so wasn't sure how well it'll work if I got black. So I chose the light blue colour. As far as uv protection, it's hard to say but I'm assuming it is protecting my arms since I've neither burned or tanned. I have no car so Mom and I walk to work (22 minutes to and from) and I work 4-5 days a week and I've been using them since I got them (about 2 or 3 months now?) and I will say they have NOT LOST their hold!! I'm extremely surprised that they are still nice and tight and hacent been worn out or started to roll down my arms yet! So I'd say they have great durability in that aspect! I have seen a few threads starting to snag a long my wrists but it's not too bad. The material isn't so thin and cheap that it'll unravel from a lose thread. Theure also pretty long. My arms are quite short so I can literally slide these all the way up my shoulder and still have it cover my hand and fingers. It's stretchy but will keep it's hold around your arm. If you have plus size arms or big muscles, it'll probably fit you tight and be too uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Now onto the cooling factor. I will say it does AND doesn't work. Does it keep you cool? Yes and no. Yes if there is a breeze/some wind. It'll keep you cool. Especially if you walk into a place with a you'll feelt the cooling INSTANTLY! Does it keep you cool when there is no wind? No, no it does not. BUT it also WILL NOT make you hotter. Unlike a sweater, hoodie or normal long sleeve shirt that will make you hotter when wearing in this summer heat, these sleeves do not make you hotter. You can wear them and feel comfortable. And again when you get that wind, ooohh baby do you feel some coolness! So again yes and no to the cooling effect. But take this with a grain of salt since this is MY experience we're talking about. And again I live in SE Texas. So for others they might feel more of a cooling effect than me depending on the area they live in and the humidity etc. But all in all these are great. The compression is nice as well. I say these are pretty decent to try out! And the prices aren't too bad either! I will definitely be buying more from this brand!

This was my first purchase of arm sleeves - they are fantastic! I wear them mainly for being out in the sun for long periods while biking and gardening. They definitely protect my arms from UV. They're very stretchy and stay in place no matter what I'm doing. My bicep is about 25 cm around (on the small side) and they're neither tight nor baggy. Even when it's warm out, I don't notice my arms feeling too hot. I wash them inside out, and have washed them in the machine in a mesh bag and also hand washed them. They hang dry very quickly. I wear them so often now, I will definitely be buying more. Sun shirts are great, too; the difference is that you can mix and match these with any t-shirt or bike jersey, and they're less expensive.

The sleeves are comfortable and keep arms cool in the sun.

I have purchased several of these sleeves in different colors and they fit nicely. I work outdoors in a garden center 40 hours a week and these sleeves give my arms protection from the sun.

Nice quality - comfortable. Fits well, doesn't slide down

Cons: hot pink color bleeds a lot. Washed twice, and it stained my arms pink after getting wet. May be less of an issue for some people, but something to be aware of. The first pair was defective (seam came undone after one use). Pros: comfortable and fits well. Quick and easy replacement of defective pair. Effectively blocked the UV during long fishing days and yard work.

I was surprised that the 1 size would fit, but it stretched perfectly. Also surprised that it made my arms feel cooler while giving sun protection. I’ll have yet to see how it handles multiple washes, but so far so good
