Great with a sprayer on the end, not so great otherwise.
This hose works great with a sprayer on the end but not so well if you want to set it at the base of a tree and dribble water slowly. The hose stretches under pressure but begins to retract once the pressure is released. Even with the sprayer on the end you can feel it trying to pull back if the hose is stretched to most of its length. It is much lighter and more flexible than conventional hoses so that is a good feature if you are moving around the garden watering pots or small beds. I have some concerns about the abrasion resistance of the outer woven fabric, but have not had it long enough to know whether this really is a problem.

"WAS" a Great Little Hose.
This is my second one I ordered I from this company so I must like it. The other 50 foot one worked great but I needed a longer one to reach areas outside of my house. I received the second one today and I connected it to the other hose to give me 100 feet and gave it a good test. No leaks anywhere and it holds the pressure like it's suppose to. I can see if you drag the hose along cement it starts to fray the hose a little but I don't see that to be a big problem until it causes a leak, which I don't think it will. Only time will tell the durability of it. I use a cheap plastic 150 foot electric cord reel from W-M to wind it up and store it, works great.UPDATE: One year and six months later it started to leak right where the hose meets the metal connector. No way to fix it. From other reviews I guess that's all one is to expect out of these hoses.

ITS CRAP
UPDATE; ONE YEAR LATER, THIS HOSE TURNS OUT TO BE CRAP LIKE THE REST. IT BUSTED! ITS NOW GARBAGEThis is my first expanding hose and now had in use for 3-weeks and haven’t found anything really negative to report. I was pleasantly supposed how much this hose expands and retracts. All appears to be well made. I also added some high end quick-connect brass fittings that I’m pleased with this set-up and will be adding at least one more maybe two. If this actually last multiple years I will come back and give this product 5 starts.

Great quality
Great quality hose. We have used it all winter in sub-zero temps in our horse barn. It's the perfect answer when you need a hose to quickly drain completely in freezing temps. Very happy with this purchase.

Lightweight and Does What it claims
I love these hoses so far. I purchased two. They are lightweight which is great for me as I suffer with back pain. There are so much better than the old plastic, heavy hoses. I've only used them once, but I was very pleased I purchased them. I showed a neighbor how it worked and she loved it too and is planning on buying also. Buy, you won't be disappointed.

Busted after a little under two years
I am writing review a little under two years later. Busted and now we have to toss. Not sure what the lifespan of a hose should be but I am thinking longer than two years for this cost. Cloth hose catches on sticks and snags. Must be used with sprayer and let hose fill before you use. If you don’t mind having a short lived hose it’s not bad.

Great hose!!!
Great hose!!! This hose was meant to take a beating. No matter what angle I moved it or bent it, the hose remained very flexible and did a great job disbursing the water to my plants, washing the car, or cleaning down the patio and chairs. Wish I had used this earlier. Some of those "other" hoses started breaking down in less then a month. Give it a try folks!

Light weight & stores nicely away
Works great! I like the idea that it empties itself when shut off and can easily be carried away to be stored away from “hose theives”. I like watching it grow and shrink too! 😁
