This particular vetricyn formula with the addition of hydrogel heals and soothes injuries and skin issues better than anything I've ever used. I first tried it on a bad open wound on a cat's back due to severe flea medicine reaction. It basically burned a hole into his back and after weeks of ineffective treatment with prescriptions from the vet, I heard about the hydrogel and gave it a try. Within 4 days, the skinless area had new skin and it was fully healed within a week although it took a bit of time for the fur to grow back. Basically it's a miracle product as far as I'm concerned and I always have some on hand.
