I bought this twin size King Koil luxury air mattress to use on our two week beach vacation. It far exceeded my expectations! It was super easy to set up and inflated in less than 90 seconds. It was a nice height, so it was easy for me to get in and out of bed. The mattress remained almost fully inflated the first night, and only needed a few seconds to inflate back to full (very normal, as I didn't inflate and let it stretch before vacation). It was easily adjusted to the perfect firmness or softness using the self inflation/deflation valves. I left it inflated for the whole two weeks. I slept more comfortably then I ever have away from home (I just am never able to sleep well in hotel beds, just too firm!) I used regular fitted sheets with really deep pockets which worked great. We just picked up the mattress fully inflated and popped it in an out of the way corner during the day. When it came time to go home, the auto deflation worked so well! The mattress fully deflated with zero air left in the mattress. I was stunned! I was able to fold it back up to its original size to put it away on it's super handy carry bag. I was so comfortable on this mattress, I could have lounged on it all day! Highly recommend!

July 21, 2019 OK, So, I am writing another review on top of my first review for this company and this bed because I can't figure out how to write a second review for the same product. (Or if it's possible to do so.). This company is one in a million! It's not a great time to be a consumer, in this world, however, the people at King Koil (Patrick) have proved me wrong and have gone far beyond what anyone would expect from an air mattress company!! They replaced my bed - TWICE!! If you have ever gone to Target or Walmart and bought an air mattress for yourself, please take note of how the manufacturer has shielded themselves from any returns, whatsoever! (One particular, well known, Canadian company comes to my mind - no problem for them to take your money and run!) It's very hard, for some reason, for air mattress companies to stand behind their product. King Koil however, makes it clear that your satisfaction, as a customer, is VERY important to them. Your review of their product and your "word of mouth" makes a difference to them. They feel confident about their product and if you are unsatisfied with it, in any way, they want to make it right with you. I'd have to search Amazon at long time to come across a review that tells the world that they would be foolish to purchase a similar product from any other company in the WORLD! BTW, this review should have been written a few months ago. I apologize for the delay (I've been a little busy). Thank you to King Koil for standing by your product and replacing my purchase twice. I appreciate your commitment to customer satisfaction, your speedy emails back to me (Patrick) and for making the replacement effortless. I'm very sorry for not getting this review up sooner as I don't want to diminish my appreciation. You guys are great and my mattress is unbelievable comfortable!! Thank you!!!!!! I cannot tell explain how happy I am with the customer service for this company. Before that though, let me mention that the bed is beautiful and I love the self inflate feature that allows you to just plug it in, turn a dial and it inflates immediately. No pulling out a separate item that has to be purchased, plugging it in, trying to reach the bed to blow it up, etc...... This is a no hassle inflating procedure. I had the bed about 9 months and it developed a slow leak. I figured I would need to purchase another but checked my receipt to see when I purchased it and noticed that it had a year long guarantee. I contacted the company, through Amazon and within 5 minutes I got an email back stating that my bed was under guarantee and they would send me a replacement. They wanted a picture of the "damage". After a couple days, I checked the bed and could not find where the leak was coming from. I wrote another email back to them and again - 5 minutes later received a reply stating "no problem, we will rush you a replacement.”- “No need to send back the damaged bed!” What a relief to not have to deal with repacking the damaged bed and mailing it back to them. Within 2 days - I received a replacement. What a breeze!!! This was top-notch customer service! After dealing with a competitor of King Koil’s a few years back, I cannot explain how impressed I was by King Koil's customer service and how quickly they stood by their product. A few years ago, after purchasing an air bed from a competitor, I noticed that mold had developed on the top of the mattress. I sent a picture to the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement. Several months later, I took the bed out to use and after blowing it up, I discovered that they had sent me a cheaper, low end bed that was substantially smaller than the one I had originally purchased. When I called and emailed the manufacturer, they told me that my bed was now no longer covered under the warranty so they wouldn't do anything about it. I told them that THEY made an error (I don't really think it was an error). They would not stand by their product or their mistake. I believe they shipped me an inferior product replacement because that is how they do business. They also make it clear, in writing, all over the box and on literature inside the box, that it will not be easy to return this product. I will never buy another product from that competitor's company and I make sure that I tell everyone I know not to buy from them. They are unprofessional, the quality is awful and the customer service is horrendous. I am so pleased with King Koil and the person that emailed me back several times to help me resolve my issue. More than once, Patrick wrote in his email that "we are here for you". Thank you, Patrick!!! It was a pleasure to work with you and I am very pleased with my purchase. Sleep in heavenly peace! This air mattress is great! Roll it out, and blow it up. It's nicely portable and easy to use! The internal air system is nicely reliable, holding air for several days. This air mattress will look good for years to come.

The bed is comfortable, fills and deflates quickly, has a plush top, and is quality materials. They do not need the pillow, in fact, please make a similar model without one. Additionally, the bed measured 16”, I thought they sent me the wrong bed at first but confirmed it was the right product number. It is not 20”, if I count the pillow its still only 19”, and not after it had time to stretch either. So it is not as tall as specs or as it looks in the photo. It is a quality air mattress though compared to others, and I kept it out of necessity. May buy again if they remove the built in pillow.

This, hands down, was one of the most comfortable inflatable mattresses I have ever slept on!! It was so easy to set up and deflate after. The size was spot on for specifications. What struck me most was the quality. It was firm in the interior after inflating. It had a smooth and noiseless feel when sleeping on it. It actually felt better than my regular mattress. Now folding it up after was a little difficult as it is heavier duty in its materials but it came with storage bags which makes it easier to put in a closet for storage. This will be my go to extra guest bed and I may buy a few more for camping. I would just need a power source to inflate for camping. The king size (I bought) would not suitable for a backpacking but great to be kept in a car as a just in case! LOVE it!

I bought two of these. The first one I bought in February 2025. It recently got a hole in it from my elbow. I gave up trying to repair it because in order to repair it I would need a repair patch. When I called the seller to find out where I can get a repair patch I got an automated run around but no live person. The written material that comes with the product when you buy it states you can either contact them via email or via the telephone if you have any customer service related issues or questions. Since reaching out to them via the telephone did not work (no live person) I sent them an email. In their one sentence response to my email they didn't answer any of my three questions (where I could get a repair patch or where I could find a copy of the owner's manual online or how my elbow could have caused a hole in the product). Instead they wrote back one sentence and said to call them and they provided their phone number (the same phone number I had previously called). So when you call the phone number you don't get through to anybody live and when you send them an email they respond and tell you to call the phone number. This is even though the written material that comes with the product states you could do either one (call or write) and you'll get a good result. I did both and still couldn't get any meaningful response from them. Both products were represented as being queen size by the seller. The same queen size sheet that barely fit on the one I bought in February 2025 just very loosely hangs over the top and sides of the one I bought in May of 2026. Clearly the one I bought in May of 2026 is smaller than the one I bought in February 2025 based on the way the queen size sheet fits perfectly on the first one I bought and is way too large for the one that was bought more recently (no snug fit whatsoever for the sheet on the one purchased in May 2026). Despite the obvious discrepancy in size of the two products the seller represents them both as being quote "queen size". Also the one bought in May of 2026 is a lot lower to the ground meaning when you sit on the edge of it you can't just have your legs resting on the ground without having your knees almost up against your chest because the product doesn't come very high off the ground. With the one bought in February 2025 you could very comfortably sit on the edge of it with your feet resting on the ground and not feel like you are halfway to being in a fetal position. I liked the first one which is why I bought the second one. I thought I was going to get another one of the same product. What I got instead was a smaller bed that's closer to the ground while being represented as being queen size (the same as the size of the first one). As an FYI, when I bought the second one I clicked on the "buy again" link (which would indicate that they're going to send me the same product I bought the first time). Clearly they sent me two different products. Also, when you fill it up with air there's no way to tell when you have enough air in it because there's no guidance on how long you're supposed to leave the air on and the air does not automatically shut off when the mattress is full of air. If anyone knows where to find information or where to find the owner's manual for this product online please post it in these reviews because I wrote the company via email and called them and I couldn't get an answer either way. If you email them they'll tell you to call them and if you call them you can't get a live person on the phone. Their customer service is horrendous. By the way reaching out to the Better Business Bureau did not help because apparently they don't respond to the Better Business Bureau either. If you go onto the Better Business Bureau website you will see that they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I took this mattress on a weekend camping trip. It rained the entire time. I think I slept better on this mattress than I do at home. It was the right height and my pillow stayed in place. It was easy to inflate with the built in pump. It deflates just as easy and packs away in it storage bag. The mattress is a thick material that doesn’t appear that it will easily puncture. I did put a little more air in the mattress on the second night. That could be a temperature adjustment. This is a high quality mattress. I’m happy that I bought it. I would recommend it to anyone.

I had a very bad experience with my King Koil Bed but when I contacted them, they went way out of their way to make me happy. They sent me a brand new bed in no time at all. I didn’t have to go the trouble of sending the old leaky one back either. They were super apologetic and after a year of replacement they called me to see how my bed is. I used it a few times since the trail ride and it was just fine. I used it for guests to sleep on. There were no complaints. I will be doing the same trail ride again at the end of the month. I am pretty sure that I won’t have the same problems as what I had last year. I would recommend King Koil for their super customer service. The beds are very very comfortable and if there is a problem contact them and they will most definitely take care of ur complaints pronto. I am thinking that the customer service is more important than the product. So if ur looking for a very comfy air bed that’s easy to climb in and out of, give them a try. I highly recommend King Koil. They treated me like roayalty. This had to be the worst purchase that I have ever made through Amazon. I am so disappointed. I replaced a queen size airbed to use in my tent when I went on my over night trail rides. My queen size was excellent but it took up too much room so I was delighted when this thing was delivered. I did everything that the instructions told me to do, I filled it, which was super slick. I left it up for a couple of days like they suggested so it could stretch. They said that it would go a bit soft, which it did. I did not lay on it at all, just left it and then deflated it and packed it away for my week long trail ride and camp out. I packed it in my vehicle and was super excited to get it out of the bag and filled it up while in my tent. I used an extension cord and my inverter. It filled beautifully. I put a foam pad and a huge and thick comforter under it because of previous experiences with airbeds in tents. The air in the bed gets extremely cold if you don't put it on top of something to insulate it against the cold ground. I put a queen size fitted sheet on it and then my feather down sleeping bag covering myself with a feather comforter. It was so comfortable, until the morning. It had gone very soft. No problem, the instructions said that this might happen. I accepted it. As the week wore on, this bed got worse and worse. I had to fill it twice, once in the day and then before I went to bed, it was still very very soft in the morning. I wasn't getting any sleep at all and I was extremely stiff from the way that it had me encapsulated. I felt like a sausage in a bun. The very last night and the 6th night of my ride, was just the worst. I hadn't been able to sleep on this horrid thing, it was getting worse and worse. I needed my sleep (riding horses for 8 hours a day). Just before I went to bed, I filled it AGAIN.. it was firm and very comfy. At 3 am, my feet were way up in the air and my head was on the ground. It had lost pretty much all of its air. I was in tears, I gathered up all of my blankets and went to my SUV to see if I could get some sleep. No good, it was totally against the reason I am in a tent. It was so uncomfortable, andI need to see and hear the horses through the night. Back to the tent I went, pushed the totally deflated KING KOIL MATTRESS to the side and slept on top of the foam and comforters. I finally got some sleep. I am so frustrated!!! I want my money back and I never want to see this thing again.. I did my research.. this was supposed to be just awesome.. well, its total junk and I am now going to contact the company.. If I could give it no stars, I would.. I am so tired.. and my vacation/trail ride was ruined

Upon receipt, we tried to inflate the King Koil Twin Air Mattress with Built in Pump, but the internal pump starting smoking as it appeared the motor short circuited and would not inflate. We double checked the wall plug and the wall plug had no issues so it was clear the King Koil was defective.

This was a horrendous experience, it never worked, the pump blew up, the quality was so pathetic, had to throw it away without even using it once. Very disappointing for such a price!

Not for European outlets! Soooo, pretty much useless. Very annoying. I had an adapter, but apparently not the correct type and the motor died. Money out the window.

Great value, very comfortable! Effortless to inflate and deflate - a very nice surprise. Slept on it for four months - very happy with it. Much more comfortable and user friendly than I imagined it would be. Excellent quality in every way. I expect it to last a long time. I have used other air mattresses - hated them, they were so cheap that they started leaking after about 5 weeks.
