We have been collecting fossils for a long time so I kind of know what is what when it comes to fossils. That being said, this set for the price is really a good deal. This would be great for a child just getting into fossil collecting or maybe a science classroom to be used as an economical teaching tool. They are not whole trilobites, but they are not advertised to be. They advertise six trilobites and although one of the rocks that came with mine did not have one on it, one of the rocks had two (see my photos) so technically I still got my six. Just as well as the holder that it comes with would only fit five of the rocks anyway, As far as the case goes, it works well to hold them in place and looks good. The trilobites themselves are economical grade but like I said for the price point they are fine. All in all, I think this is a very nice set and worth getting.

This Trilobite Tail Fossil Kit is exactly how it looks in the picture. This is a very interesting display of fossils with a nice display case. The fossils come just as they are out of the ground. I'll have to read up on the different ways to prep them for display but they look awesome just the way they are. These would also make an awesome gift as well as a conversation piece in the home or office. Overall, these are pretty cool display pieces.
