Our youngest grandchild is homeschooled and this severed as a reinforcement of she is learning at the homeschool academy. I would recommend this product highly.

My oldest finished level B and we had a few more weeks of school left so I ordered level C, so far it's been mostly review but I understand that since I'm assuming most people would be starting it at the beginning of the year. I like that these books have perforated tear out pages because I use them for my 1st grader and my Kindergartner and put it in a clear page protector so it can be reused without erasing or making copies.

Love This Series
We homeschool and neither of my boys' strong suit is reading. I've got one math lover and one history/science kid. We started with Level B in Kindergarten, my oldest used Level C in first grade (youngest will use C this year) and moving on to Level D this year for second grade. So for us, the recommended grade levels are spot on. If you have an advanced reader, I can see how you might want to go up a book. As for the repetition, that's one thing I love about these books. They understand the format, so they are concentrating on the content. I think it gives them some confidence and sense of control that they know what's coming and understand it when they get there. Every child is different, so you have to find what works best for each particular one. These have worked fabulously for both my boys. I have loved every Evan Moor product we've used and frequently recommend them to friends.

When purchased I knew it was used but quite a few pages were written on in pen by a child so I was unable to use them.
