Felt sad holding it in my hand thinking why didn't these tools were available in my youth. Truly a quality tool or multitool whatever you may say with immense thinking applied to work comfortably.

Ich habe den Zangenschlüssel für die Fälle gekauft, wo man man irgendwo mit Kraft gegenhalten muß oder einfach gerade keine Schlüsselweite oberhalb 21 zur Hand hat. Beispielsweise Gewinde-Steuersatzlager an antiken Fahrrädern, Radlager oder wenn es um verchromte Armaturen von Sanitärabflüssen geht, die man danach nicht in die Tonne treten und daher keine Knipex Cobra verwenden will. Sogar RJ45-Netzwerkbuchsen im Patchpanel und Schneid-Klemmverbinder für Flachbandkabel habe ich damit schon verpreßt. 180mm ist dafür genau die richtig Größe, macht als Problemlöser für speziellere Fälle einen schlanken Fuß im Werkzeugkasten. Darunter beginnt eher das Reich der Puppenküche, weiß nicht, wofür jemand sowas bräuchte, der sowieso einee 1/4"-Knarrentasche (bspw. die über alle Zweifel erhabene Wera 05004018001 8100 SA 8 Zyklop Metal-Knarrensatz, Umschalthebel, 1/4 Zoll -Antrieb, metrisch, 28-teilig besitzt und die üblichen Schlüsselweiten als Gabelschlüssel. Für die Fälle, wo es "mal etwas mehr sein darf" habe ich mir später noch die 300mm-Variante besorgt, die macht z. B. mit hartnäckig festen Überwurfmuttern an Wassermengenzählern und sonstiger Sanitärinstallation kurzen Prozess, ohne übermäßig Flurschaden zu erzeugen. Verarbeitung jedenfalls tadellos, die Maulweitenverstellung rastet sicher ein und auf parallele Backenführung möchte ich nicht verzichten. Die atramentierte Oberfläche reicht mir vollkommen aus, da kann wenigstens kein Chrom abplatzen und es blendet nichts in der Sonne. Wer nicht gerade an Offshore-Ölpattformen schraubt und die Knipex gelegentlich mit einem öligen Lappen abwischt, dürfte keinerlei Korrosionsprobleme bekommen. Ja, die aufgerufenen Preise sind durchaus ordentlich Geld, man kriegt aber auch ordentlich was geboten. Lösungsmittelbeständige, festsitzende Griffe z. B., leichtgängige, spielfreie Mechanik und ein durchgestecktes Gelenk, das wirklich derbe Kräfte aushält. Und jetzt überlegen wir uns kurz, was ein 36er Gabel-Ringschlüssel von Stahlwille kostet. 'nuff said.
