⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Comfortable, Stylish, and Surprisingly Easy to Assemble! I absolutely love these Adirondack chairs! Once assembled, they looked fantastic and added the perfect touch to our outdoor space. Assembly was pretty straightforward — the instructions are clear enough, though I also left a few of my own notes in case someone needs a bit more guidance. A few tips from my experience: Use the included tool or a proper wrench to tighten all the bolts securely. I originally tried to take a shortcut and realized later that everything needed tightening. When attaching the arms to the legs, make sure the legs are on the inside of the armrest. If your legs are sticking out beyond the arm, you probably installed it on the wrong side. I used a drill gun, which sped things up a lot, but be gentle — the wood is on the thinner side, so too much pressure could crack it. After doing four chairs, my fingertips were a little sore, so I really appreciated having the drill. Once I finished my first chair and got the hang of it, each one took about 15 minutes. If you're chatting or distracted, it might take 20–30 minutes per chair. Still, for furniture assembly, that’s a breeze. All in all, these chairs were a great buy. Comfortable, well-crafted, and the assembly was beginner-friendly with just a few mindful steps. Would definitely recommend! See YouTube for the full video. After reading other reviews, I had low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised! I’m a rather handy person, and would rate these as just a tiny bit more difficult to assemble than an Ikea kit. There’s more assembly than expected, but nothing crazy. I took a couple hours of easygoing time to get them put together. Next I will seal them so they last outdoors in case they accidentally get left in the rain. Overall I am very happy with these chairs.

From the perspective of a woodworker: I recently built an adirondack chair for myself. With the price of lumber these days, it cost nearly $300 for a single chair. Due to the cost, I decided to buy a second one knowing that it would not be as good, but it should do for a few years. I would describe this adirondack chair as small and delicate. The legs measure 2 1/4 wide by 3/4 inches thick...to give you an idea. And it is 2 inches narrower than many other addirondack chairs. It is suitable for someone smaller. But, being 6 ft. tall and 180 lbs, I would be careful to sit on it myself regularly. The chair description was 'Eucalyptus Wood Patio Lounge Chair', but the detail stated that it was Canadian cedar. It arrived well packed, and it was pretty easy to assemble. But there was 1 misplaced pre-drilled screw hole which I had to correct in order to make the seat frame square. Additionally, another reviewer mentioned that the bottom of the front legs are not cut at the correct angle (and do not sit flat against the ground), and this will cause the front legs to crack if not corrected (after assembly) or shimmed. I found this to be true. Know that the chair is made of cedar which, while being an excellent wood, can split if not properly cared for. And, while the description states that every piece was well selected, about 10% of the pieces have a blue stain caused by fungus. This is mostly aesthetically not pleasing, but I would not call this premium wood. Additionally, a couple of pieces had knots which should have been rejected. Other than this, the remaining pieces were sound and of good quality. Also, note that some of the pieces were roughly machined, and there was tearout on a few pieces, as well as machine marks that had to be sanded out. Personally, I think the chair would be better without the 'brushed finishing' (which are just tiny grooves, and easily splinter) and the cove detail on the arm rest which minimizes the area for resting a glass. While both were done to add attractive features, the chair would be better without these. If you want to make this a better chair, purchase 150 grit sand paper and spend a couple of hours sanding all pieces to smooth out the rough edges so you don't get a splinter in your patootie! Also, apply a coat of either tung oil or linseed oil BEFORE you assemble the chair, and you will be very pleased with the results. Note that this same chair is sold by different companies.. The only difference I found is that one is made from hemlock (not as good as cedar), while the others say that they are made of cedar. Also, there are different colors...and wildly different prices. I give this chair 3 stars for quality, but I give it 4 stars for value. While it's great to have an adirondack chair made of cedar, note that they do take some care (applying oil) for them to last. If you are attracted to the lower price (under $100) of this chair, and you understand that it's more delicate, then it's a great deal. But if you want an adirondack chair that is more durable and requires less care, you might be better off with paying a little more for a chair made from re-cycled plastic/resin composition.

Overall good quality. Putting together took some time but after we did the first chair then the 2nd went wast. Very durable.

These chairs are very flimsy and they're way too small for an average-sized adult. They're also VERY uncomfortable. You can't sit as you would with any other chair. If you sit with your lower back against the back of the chair your upper back won't make contact with the back of the chair. And if you try to rest your upper back against the back of the chair your lower back won't be in contact with the back of the chair. Who can sit like that? Terrible design. I would have returned this junk but I missed the return-by date because I was too busy at the time to assemble them. I can't emphasize enough how really bad these are. Find a better chair from someone other than Soliwood. Also, I had to drill a few holes myself as Soliwood failed to drill them. And a couple of slats on the base of the chair didn't align well as the holes were slightly off. This affected the folding of the chair as the misaligned slats scraped the parts that slid past them upon folding. This is the worst product I've ever bought at Amazon. Update: Since my negative review of this product Soliwood has sent me a full refund. I appreciate that. Their customer service is top notch.

I originally gave these a 5 for cost/comfort. I really expected these to last more than a year and a half. I think they are still fine but maybe should not stay outside. I put these together. First one took about an hour, second one about 30 minutes. One of the boards cracked during installation. Not happy about that but might be OK. If that board makes it fall apart I will come back and lower the 5 to a 4 or 3. Bottom line, if you are under 220# you are going to love these (my wife). If you are my size you will feel you could break them with a karate chop if you chose to. Don't karate chop them. You will like them. My neighbors already called to say they think they look good. My wife likes that. I just like having somewhere to sit in the front yard. Bottom line, I think you will like these. I liked them enough I wanted to write a review. When you build them and you should use a drill, set the pressure to around 6 and go no higher than 8. Lastly, the only criticism. I know how to fit a bit to a screw. The bolts seem to not be the best material. The strip if you are not careful. I have a couple bolts that are likely going to rust. For $140 (for 2) I recommend you purchase. Edit, July 2025, I have had them for 2 years: The "Solidwood" is not holding up. They sit outside under a trees and they were great for about a year. The wood is now very flimsy (did did crack a board during install a couple years ago, still worked). All the screws need to be tightened but I am pretty sure the wood will split if I do.

I bought 4 of the 2-chair sets and just finished assembling them. They are well engineered to make assembly easy. The real key to assembling them is to not tighten the hinge bolts until the end. The first one took me probably 30 minutes, the 4th one took me about 10 minutes. Come back and read this when you are ready to assemble them. I tried assembling the first one on the floor, but it is much better to clear off the kitchen table (or work bench) and work there. Lay the box on the table, taped seam up. Cut the tape, but not too deep. Open the box and cut the bubble wrap loose. Take out all of the pieces and lay them aside. Dispose of the box and the packing material. Find the two long pieces (back legs) and lay them parallel on the table, with the larger rear cutout notches facing each other. Find the scalloped front piece with the 4 screw holes. Hint: All of the holes are countersunk, so you know which side to screw from. Lay it on the table in front of the the two long read legs, scalloped side down and line up the holes. The scallops actually line up the holes flush. Find the 5 seat slats and lay them out on top of the legs. Unpack all of your screws. Place the screws in the slats (in the countersunk side) and line up the holes. It is easiest to push the screws through the slats slightly to get them to align in the holes underneath. The next piece is the back slat of the seat that is curved and is on the angle edge. Voila, the seat is done. Now. Open the two bags of bolts and split them between either side of the seat. Take the two hinge pieces (8" X1" wood pieces with 2 holes) and connect them to the legs with the nuts and bolts. Big hint: One washer goes on each end of the bolt and one in the middle between the wood pieces. You will screw this up at least once. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS! Now turn to the pre-assembled seat back. Find the curved piece that goes on the middle of the back. This is the one step that I still have a little trouble with. You need to line up the 3 holes from the front side, so it is awkward. Tighten the screws. Now lay out the seatback flat at the rear of the seat you just built and line up the open end of the hinge pieces with the bottom rod across the seat back. Again put in your bolt and 3 washers on each side, but do not tighten. Next, find the front legs. The little triangles at the top point outward. Move the seat to the edge of your table and put the bolt through the front leg and back leg, and let it dangle there on each side. You guessed it, do not tighten the bolts. Now take the arms, skinny sides to the back (and middle) and lay them next to the back and seat on the table. Attach them to the middle of the back seat with the bolts. When that is done, pick up the seat back and the arms attach them to the top of the front legs. Remember that these bolts are the only ones that go from the inside out. Now that you have attached all of the bolts, go ahead and tighten them. The last step is then to attach the support across the front with the 4 screws, beveled edge up and countersunk side facing out. It seats real well in the notches provided. Per other's advice, I am going to poly them, and I think I will construct some cup holder to go under the arms as well. I think I will build my own footrests too. They are easy. Hope this helps.

This is an amazing outdoor chair. It’s easy to assemble and extremely comfortable. I was a little hesitant because I wasn’t sure if it would be too stiff but im gladly wrong! Perfect for lounging outdoors in the summer or cozying up with a blanket in the fall. Would recommend.

The season is just starting, so I am unable to comment on how they will hold up to the weather, but I can say they are comfortable and durable. I LOVE the fact they can be folded for easy storage.
