Good quality ply wood sheets
Firstly, these are not balsa wood . These are a type of wood commonly known as bass wood .They are used with balsa wood in plywood form and are harder to cut with normal light duty craft knives. heavier duty Stanley type knives are needed .They are stiffer and stronger though and great to use .1•5 mms thick.

This isn't balsa.
This is plywood for engraving or laser cutting. I can still use it for model making but just needs a few more cuts with a craft knife. It's nice plywood though!
