Once you figure out how to remove the film (be patient - it’s worth it) and put the treads in place, they stay! We have a Great Dane and a Labrador/Dane mix who are up and down the stairs multiple times per day. The treads don’t move! They are so gorgeous, and they really cut down in the noise of people (and pets) going up and down the stairs. Plus - they protect the original wood in our 118-year-old house. One of my dogs got ill, and without going into graphic detail, she left a trail. I used a mild laundry soap with cool water to clean up the treads and the matching landing rugs (sold separately, but totally get them - they’re amazing, too). The colors didn’t run, the treads dried just fine, and everything is staying put just like it should. Definitely recommend!!!

They look very beautiful as the entry to the basement level of our home. Only concern was removing material to make them stick. I carefully tried to peel off the large label and then used its stickiness for adhesion to our steps. I’m not sure this was correct, but it seems to work. I’m also considering adding carpet tacks to make them more securely attached to the stair treads.

These stair pads look like very expensive carpet with needle point design. Outstanding quality, well worth the price. They cling to the stairs very well, and have a hang over lip that protects the edge of the stair step. There is a metal support on the edge that keeps the piece flat, as well as a self stick backing that holds the carpet down and prevents slipping. I am very pleased!!

Horrible! I waited two months than it came all rolled up! Could not straighten them out so in the garbage now! Somewhere in a landfill!

These stair treads are just gorgeous. I just installed them, super easy. I didn't need carpet tape as these already have a sticky bottom and seem to grip super good. I will update if I end up needing tape. The quality is first class. I am amazed really. Very classy looking.

Looks Ok but is not self-sticking. You better add two-sided carpet tape to your project cost.

Cheap finish for very high price, I returned it

As expected, they look just like the photo and they haven't moved since we put them down
