Shoulder seam ripped on first wear.
I like this abaya. It is a nice warm beige color, not yellowish. It took some time to prepare it for wearing. I steamed it (recommend low heat) and it took 30 minutes or so because there are two layers and it was folded for shipping. I also needed to cut many serged edges and even burn them with a lighter to avoid fraying. There were many loose threads or pieces of fabric that needed to be pulled out at the seams. So there was a lot of prep in order to wear the garment. Sadly I just realized that after only wearing it once, the shoulder area had ripped at the seam. I’m going to attempt to mend it but the fabric frays easily, so it may be hard to sew. I had the feeling, as I spent all the time prepping the garment, that it was cheaply made and that I may have supported a “sweat shop” or some sort of slave labor, which doesn’t feel good/is not my intention. It took about 3-4 weeks to receive and cost about $45.00 with shipping/tax. I do like that it comes with matching hijab and tie (all same fabric and color).

Runs small
Runs small especially in the shoulders. But it's really pretty and exactly what I wanted it for--I wear it as a robe over my summer nightie.

It’s okay
It’s okay for what it is. It’s kind of useless if it’s an open abaya. And you shouldn’t use the wrap because than it shows off your curves.
