Keeps rod from slipping. Beware if using the adhesive backing once stuck on don’t plan on moving it. It STICKS. I opted to use the sticky pad and the one screw also, though probably didn’t need the screw. Also note these are plastic — as stated clearly in the description — so don’t screw the screw in too tight. Very pleased with the product. I chose the stainless one.

These rod holders are great for keeping a tension bar from ever coming down. I used them for that purpose, but didn't use the peel-off adhesive on the back of each holder. Being mounted with anchor screws and held in place by the tension bar is working well, and if I do have to move the bar at some point it'll be a lot easier to remove the holders without worrying about the adhesive tearing up the drywall. For my purpose, these worked very well and look nice, too.

This product sticks very well to my bathroom tile shower/tub wall. Previously, my shower curtain rod kept falling down the tile wall at the slightest tug or touch of the shower curtain. I put the Briofox up and my shower curtain is now stable. It has effectively stuck to the tile and has not given way or become loose from the steam of a hot shower. It is very easy to put them up. It's a simple peel-and-stick product. I cleaned the tile with alcohol, peeled the self-adhesive backing off, and applied a little pressure as I pressed them against the wall. That was it. It's a great, inexpensive solution for the slipping, sliding, and falling of the shower curtain rod. I can attest to its effectiveness on a tile wall. It works, it stays in place and it holds. Measure and mark where you want to place it in advance. Once stuck to the tile, it adhered quickly and firmly.

I ordered a couple of sets of the round BRIOFOX Shower Curtain Rod Holders. They appear to be of fairly high quality and come with 3M adhesive tape and fairly nice mounting hardware, and even include a spare screw and drywall anchor. In my case I ordered the ones labelled transparent. They really are more translucent than transparent. The problem is that the 3M backer tape they use is white, which defeats the purpose of getting a "clear" shower rod support. No problem, as I preferred using the screw mount option, but it meant removing the sticky tape from the shower rod holders - a task that took several minutes of peeling using my fingers and a liberal application of solvent to remove any remaining sticky residue. At least the plastic they used is solvent resistant. Perhaps the manufacturer could supply the 3M tape separately on the transparent version. This would save some customers the time and effort of removing the tape. Or perhaps use clear double-sided mounting tape on the transparent version. It is available. Mounting with the included drywall anchors and screws was fairly straightforward. The countersunk mounting screw hole is offset toward the bottom, which allows even smaller shower rod feet to cover it. However, the offset means the top of the plastic bracket pulls away slightly from the wall (when not using the 3m tape) as you tighten the screw. Note: I only tightened the screw enough to hold the mount to the wall, and avoided overtightening, which could stress or crack the plastic. A second countersunk screw hole near the top would be a welcome addition. I may attempt to do that myself with a countersink drill bit. If I were using a shower rod with a wider 2" or 2.5" foot this might not be an issue. As-is I worry moisture and dirt can get behind the mount. We will see over time how well these mounts stand up. They do look good and most people probably won't even notice them in our guest bathroom, given they are translucent.

My tension shower rod worked well but even though my shower curtain and liner are both lightweight the rod would fall off the wall with the slightest provocation. When it fell with a loud crash in the middle of the night and scared us all to death it was the last straw. I like the shower rod a lot so looked to see what could be done. I found these holders & my problem is solved. The adhesive seems to be very strong, the holders look nice and best of all - no more crashing shower curtains! I recommend!

I bought a set of these for one of my showers because the rod slipped off the wall far too frequently. Even when the rod was reinstalled and tightened as much as it could be, it eventually loosened and fell. This is very scary when it falls during the night. I saw these BRIOFOX rod holders and immediately ordered them. That was nearly 3 years ago and have had zero issues with rod slipping or falling. My second shower is seldom used, so I didn’t buy a set for that rod. Now, however, 3 years later, I moved the shower curtain to clean that shower and the rod went crashing to the floor. I immediately went on Amazon (hoping they still sold these) and sure enough, there they were. I bought a set without hesitation. They arrived within a day or so. I installed them immediately. Problem solved. I don’t know what type of adhesive is used on this product, but it works and the design of the product is genius. I highly recommended both seller and product.
