If this product could be rated 10 starts thats what it would get. It is a VERY OUTSTANDING item, well worth the price. It is so great that I ordered a 2nd one to give to my sister. She loves it also! It is so easy to operate, very simple. The volume can be turned up very loud, no problems to hears. The voice is of a human voice, not a synthesized one. The guy who tells the story has a nice strong and clear voice. I love everything about The Talking Bible! With me being older with poor eyesight, it is a joy to have the Bible read to me. I use it daily. My sister has the same comments as I do. I wish it had a pause button. But when you turn it off and back on, it resumes where you left off. Very nice!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to others no doubt!!! FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!!

Purchased for a family friend who is losing her eyesight and can no longer see well enough to read a large print bible. She used to read the bible daily so she was devastated to lose the ability to do this. I wasn't sure if she would like this recorded version of the bible. She already owned a set of tapes but she disliked them because their recorded text was incorrect. I showed her how to work this bible the day she received it. I had put batteries in it before wrapping it. She was in tears later that night. She said it was the best gift she had ever received. She listens to it every night. She hasn't said anything about the text being wrong or that she dislikes the voice reading it. The buttons are easy for her to see. There are no codes to enter to get to a certain chapter. She just has to scroll through them by pushing the up or down arrow-shaped buttons. I couldn't be happier with this product. I strongly recommend this item for anyone who is unable to read a printed bible. Our friend is in her 80's and she has had no problem operating the controls. She likes the fact that it is portable and operates on batteries than a charger.

Bought this for my elderly mom who is losing her eye sight. It is very easy to work and she loves the size.The sound is perfect and pleasant to listen to. I ordered another one for a close friend of hers to use while going through cancer treatments. Highly recommend this audio Bible.

My mama is almost blind. It works great for her easy to operate. Worked great first month then quit working thought it needed batteries. It still wouldn't work after putting new batteries in it. Could not return cause of it being over a month old. So we paid 68 dollars for one month. Not a good deal

I loved it!

I bought this item twice. My dad really liked the first one. He had dementia and it was something he would sit for hours and listen to. So I will say it to us it was worth the cost. The down side is after about 6 months the first one stopped working so I had to buy him another. The second one lasted almost as long as the first. I don’t know if this was a product failure, but I would think so as we went through two in approx. one year. He wasn’t hard on them, just used a lot. That being said I would have bought another one if my dad was still with us. He really did like it.

It works but for the price I am disappointed in it's quality. It has a cheap plastic feel. I wouldn't want to accidentally drop one of these because it would most likely break. Also took 3 weeks to get delivered. For the price I would go another route next time. I hope it works well enough for who I bought it for.

I purchased it for a friend's sister and she loves it. I've been asked for another as someone's gift so it's an awesome gift. After several months of use the volume control buttons failed to work and the battery life has reduced significantly with about 1 hour of use daily. The general quality of the dials and buttons is flimsy with repeated use. It's overpriced for the quality.
