The problem is that my son hits himself a lot and with so much movement they start to slide down or up and I have to readjust them, but I still recommend them. This brace covers my 2y/o entire arm. He can't bend it at all, not like how the pictures are showing it covering mostly just the elbow. He definitely can not get his thumb into his mouth though.

Need to put these on sort of loose and make sure your child wears long sleeves to prevent any sort of pressure impressions otherwise it works great stops thumb sucking

My son has been sucking his index and middle finger since birth and we had tried so many other things to get him to stop. This was our last resort. He did not like it at first but we decided to pretend he had powers with it on and he forgot the reason he was wearing it. He did not complain about it being uncomfortable. the straps are adjustable so that was great. He literally could not suck his fingers while wearing it so after a few weeks of intermittently wearing it he stopped sucking his fingers altogether! This was perfect.

THIS WORKS! We tried the thumb guards and they didn’t work —our thumb sucker could easily slip them off his hand and we weren’t willing to make it so tight that it cut off blood flow. But this… It doesn’t have to be super tight and works like a charm. He hates it so much, that alone is keeping him from putting his thumb in his mouth. Worth every penny. He’s gotten so much better about the habit in just a week of using this than with any other device or tactic. Just an FYI, we bought two, one for each arm, even though he’s partial to his right. If he has the other accessible, he will switch to it. And we also had to put a long sleeve shirt on over them to keep him from taking them off.

This would be great and work but my son is ahead of the curve and takes them right off. Long sleeves would work if my kid would wear them but he refuses. But if your child can't escape any and everything, these r great for the price!

The product is quite useful and does what it claims. The quality is decent and it is comfortable for kids to use. It helped in reducing the habit to some extent, which is a positive point. However, the fitting could be a little better and sometimes it comes off easily. Also, it takes time for kids to get used to it. Overall, it's a good product and worth trying, but there is still some scope for improvement.
