Selected Essays of William Carlos Williams

One of the U.S. greats. His essays are always interesting. I bought it especially for his essay on the poem as a field of action because I am deep into Black Mountain College culture these days. But it is great to come back to WCW after being away for some years.

Hard to argue with this collection. Of particular interest to me was his essay on García Lorca (I'm one of the co-translators of Poet in New York Grove published in 2008) since neither I nor Pablo Medina even knew of its existence!
