My favorite rod by far.
I have been river, stream, and creek fishing for trout for 70 years in the west. This has become my favorite pole. I just bought another one. It casts for more distance with less effort. It is light in weight and perfectly balanced, making for much less arm and hand fatigue over a long day. The sensitivity is remarkable - there is nothing that comes in contact with my tackle that I can't feel. As a bonus, they are a beautiful rod.

Not what I expected of a St. Croix rod
Disappointed in the action and feeling of the rod, the previous trout series with cork handle was alot better imo. I feel like this is a cheaper version overall

Very disappointing quality control
Used it a few times and the rod snapped in half pulling a small trout (7 inches) out of the water. No excuse for a rod this expensive being of such poor quality. Buyer beware…would not purchase.

Poor shipping packaging
Good quality rod, don't order from Amazon, ships in a plastic bag and all of the guides are going to arrive bent.
