Does this fold without having to loosen or remove anything? It is a shared bathroom and we need one that can be folded when not needed?

product description says it folds but reviews says it doesn't. we need something like this for travel but need to know if it easily folds?

There are 4 pins that you pull out for it to fold. They were easy to pull out. You will just need to be sure not to lose pins. Otherwise it folds very easy. But, you need to have these pins in for safety purposes.

does it fold for easy portability?

The range of "yes" and "no" answers is puzzling. Assembling consists of inserting the legs into the frame and bolting them on, using knobs, so it is easy to remove the legs. The next "step" is to open the sides and insert four "pins" to hold the sides in place. "Folding for easy portability" is accomplished by removing the four pins and folding the sides onto the back. The hard part would be not losing those pins, which are not essential, but should be used. So "YES", it does fold for portability, easy or otherwise.
