Great upgrade and easy install
I am a professional guitarist and have used many strings over the years, including EarnieBall’s expensive competitors. I find myself continuing to come back to their Slinky line for all of my stringed instruments because their value and tone are hard to beat. These ukulele strings fit my concert ukulele perfectly and stay in tune very well after initial stretching. Because of the nature of nylon strings, make sure to put about five fingers width between the strings and the fretboard when installing to make sure the nylon wraps around the tuning peg enough times and holds tight. The first wrap goes above the hole and the remainder go below it. The ball ends make the securing on the bridge a breeze. No more tying and praying. Great product and great company. They don’t pay me to write this, but I’ll stand by them as their quality consistency is unwavering. There’s lots of string in each package so this would be easily compatible for a wide range of neck lengths.

These are worth trying!
I have ten ukuleles in my house that are all different when it comes to size, tone woods, construction, and features (tuners, bridge, nut, saddle, etc.). Here’s one thing I know: every instrument responds differently to strings based on all the construction variables. I put this set of low G and black nylon strings on my solid spruce top uke to mellow it out a bit, and now it is perfect. With the previous fluorocarbon strings it was just too snappy sounding. The Ernie Ball black nylons give it outstanding sound with good projection, clear ringing with each note, and the black color is a sweet look to boot. Interestingly, I had a set on a high gloss solid mahogany tenor ukulele and I thought the sound was just ok. Not bad, but not great. It’s important to note that It’s hard to call a string “bad” (like reviewers often do) when it’s just not the string set’s fault that it is poorly matched with the instrument. That being said, it’s a crying shame that many of the instruments being sold these days come with the thick synthetic nylon marketed as similar to old school gut. Sure, those strings are durable and have good tuning stability, but they are thick and stiff, and the tone is often dull with a C string “thuds.” Those strings actually ARE bad, but I understand why uke manufactures include them on entry level and value ukuleles — it prevents new players from breaking strings b when they are mistakenly using guitar picks, or they are writing bad reviews because the instrument goes out of tune easily when new. Like all nylon, these E.B.’s will take some time for them to stretch out and stabilize. That is not a flaw, but the reality of nylon strings. I am pleased with these Ernie Ball strings and will keep using them on one or two specific instruments. Price is right and they are easy to play. BIG BONUS with these is the ball ends. It makes stringing a snap. I wish more string guys followed suit.

Beautiful sounding strings!
I was looking for a low G string for my ukulele, and I came across this listing. First impressions were pretty good, as I was just expecting a singular low G string to come in, but they actually sent me a whole set of strings (including the low G)! The "Nylon Ball Ends" on these strings made them quite easy to assemble, and my only complaint would be that they don't explain the entire assembly process, but instead show the straightforward parts on their "manual". The strings sounded really good overall and I highly recommend!

Amazing Quality, Affordability, And Sound
I recently purchased a new tenor ukulele due to my old one breaking, and had to find some good quality and affordable strings. These exceeded my expectations! They not only were affordable, but look and sound amazing. I ordered the black low G ones they were easy to install and I didn't have any issues with them wanting to snap or break. Now that I have had them for around a month they don't seem to have broken down in a bad way and they play just as well as when they were installed! They are also staying in tune well. If you are looking for some good ukulele strings look no further!

New Favorite Ukulele Strings
I have always used Aguila and have tried all their different styles. I had the Red last time and they were nice at first but then wore out quickly and wouldn't stay in tune. I decided to try the Ernie Ball ones. Immediately they look and feel much higher quality than the Aguila. The sound is medium loudness and very smooth, play is buttery, they broke in fast and look great. I like the look of the gold wound 4th string with the other standard clear strings on my Uke. So far loving these and probably going to stick with them from now on.

It came with the wrong string
The string is okay, the sound and tuning is not bad but as I opened it just had a different string idk if it was intended but it is golden and its metal I don't know if they will send other another but I was highly disappointed. It doesn't fit my ukulele either.

Top class
Lovely strings to play, once my original ones had got dull / snapped. They stay in tune for a long time. Apart from the high A on a ukulele. I'm not sure what I'm reviewing. Are these metal guitar strings or ukulele strings? I can't tell from the tiny image. If it's the ukulele strings with the metal wound low G, they are awesome. If it's for an electric uke or guitar, wind the high strings slowly I wouldn't buy any other make now.
