SALOMON X Ultra Pioneer Cswp mens Climbing Shoe

Excellent shoe for hiking in steep hills covered by snow and slide. I used for the whole day walking and climbing in snow with wet water around. I didn't feel neither chill nor wet and I felt very comfortable. 4 star because I couldn't find 43E, instead I bought 431/3 size which I felt slightly oversized by few mm and the shoe is bit narrow in the front that squeezed my toes. I would recommend to go for wide, but I think such option is not available in Salomon. Overall is a good shoe and can be used for regular use also.

I like a pair of everything shoes. These fit the bill! I use them daily for my occupation as a handyman. After six months, they have not pulled a single stitch or had any delamination of the soles. This is the first pair of shoes I have had in over 10 years that when the laces broke I didn't just go buy another pair of shoes. Yes, most of them are that bad. I've worn Merrill, Keen, Red Wing, Chippewa, you name it. The soles are actually wearing out before the shoe falls apart! Yes, they are a bit narrow. I always throw out the factory insoles no matter the brand. Aftermarket insoles are always worth it. Every time I strap these shoes on, I get Happy Feet.

My second pair of Salomon shoes, but won’t be my last. Light, supportive, great fit and supremely comfortable for walking or hiking long distances. I’ve walked 25km or more in these many times and always felt fresh with no discomfort at the end. They are the best!

Io ho il 48 e veste bene. Scarpa robusta e ben fatta non è in goratex ma c'è qualcosa di simile dentro. Avevo un modello simile che ha macinato tanti chilometri. Questa è leggermente diversa ma di buona fattura.Soldi spesi bene.
