It works!!
Yes, it works. I get about 20 channels including CW, ABC, FOX, NBC, PBS, and something called escape which reminds me of Truth. There are local movie channels as well. From the pic you can see how high I have the antenna (the red light glows when connected to a power source). I had it lower but the channels were fuzzy so I put it up as high as I could reach. The cord is very long and could go much higher though. I love that it works so well.

Works but underwhelmed with performance.
These work but are not a noticeable improvement over the 12 year old set of rabbit ears bought for $9.99 at at CVS in 2006. So far this performs no better and in some regards worse. After a full channel scan this picked up fewer channels than the old metal rabbit ears, disappointing for sure. WIth the old setup some of the OTA networks would occasionally cut out or pause during viewing and the hope was that this powered antenna would solve that issue. Time will tell and so far we've seen no cut outs. We are 4 miles from downtown Columbus so within 5-6 miles from all major network broadcast locations. The new antenna is mounted to the wall behind and slightly above the LCD wall mounted TV.

Clearly there was a short in the wiring, I reached our to Fannego about a replacement/fix, they took a few days to answer and the answer simply said they could help, but didn't offer any solutions. I returned the product for another brand.

Didn't work for me
As expected, it didn't work. For $14 I can't really complain. It was worth the try. But this is not any better than any other "rabbit ear" antenna. It is just aesthetically more pleasing.Don't spend $50 on this. It really isn't worth it.

Lot's of Spanish Stations from San Diego
It's just like every other antenna. Honestly, after I got it and tested the reception it picked up about 14 stations. The only problem was that 80% of the stations were in Spanish. If you live in San Diego and need to learn Spanish, buy it. You can watch all the free Spanish stations.

Say no to cable
Having divorced my cable company, the antenna does what I need it to. The stations are fickle, I’m less than 8 miles from a tv Station, but can’t tune in the channel despite recomfiguring and rescanning. May have everything to do with the station and not the unit. Tried another brand and same results.

Mild improvement over cheaper bunny ears
I was using a small set of $10 bunny ears I got from Walmart, but wasn't picking up as many channels as I would have liked. Decided to buy this product and see what improvement I could get. It picked up a few more channels, but not all of them are clear. I started getting CBS, but lost FOX (which I was getting on the bunny ears). NBC doesn't come in clear either. I live in a big city so I am quite disappointed that I can't get these channels, but you get what you pay for.

Works better than expected.
Works really well. I ended up putting it in the window next to my tv. It works fine in my apartment and in my neighborhood. I have to move the wire around about twice a week to ensure good reception, and it works well even in stormy weather
