Would purchase again ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight and sturdy *by Z***I on October 31, 2023* The main reason I bought it is because I like the idea of not having to screw off the metal rod to switch between using a regular rod butt or gimbal butt. While that is true, I did find out that using heavier set ups or hooking up to bigger fish is uncomfortable when using the rod gimbal. Since the metal bar is basically all the way to the bottom and not center, whenever there's a load it pushes just the bottom half into your groin instead of utilizing the whole surface area of the plate. While uncomfortable it is bearable and still better than just bare skin. If you're mainly gonna use without a gimbal then its honestly perfect. I keep it as a back up in my bag for myself or to lend out.
