So far I have made pounds and pounds of beef, pork and chicken jerky. Many of the batches have been jerky cure free, only cured with the drying process and temperature. All batches have turned out great and the dogs absolutely love having meat jerky treats. The kids also like the jerky without the cure because it’s flavorful but less salty. I have yet to get fruit roll ups or fruit strips to do like I want yet though. That’s more on me than the dehydrator I think. It also drives very quickly. It states a 6 to 8 hour dry time but I’ve had batches from start to finish in 4 1/2 or five hours. As far as function, it is very simple to operate just load it and hit the button and come back when it dings. Makes high-quality jerky extremely affordable as well as tasty and nutritious

I've dehydrated a few things with this and I'm very happy with the results. It is very quiet and the controls are very easy to use. If you are a serious dehydrator, I might recommend a square one, but this is inexpensive and very functional for the hobbyist.
