I bought this dye to make my Maltese mix match my tricolor Bernedoodle, and I’m honestly impressed with the results. The brown looks exactly like advertised, and the black is a true, rich black—not faded or ashy at all. The colors turned out great and blended beautifully. Application was easy and straightforward. The directions were clear, and the product spread well. While it was processing, I ran a metal comb through the coat to make sure the roots were fully covered, which worked perfectly. My only complaint is the amount of product. My dog is about 16 lbs, and I used every last drop just to cover his back. I definitely would have needed a second box for touch-ups or full coverage. The quality is there—I just wish there was more product included. Overall, great color, easy to use, and excellent results—just plan to buy more than one box if your dog isn’t tiny.

the groomer accidentally got dye on her legs the first time so i wanted to do it myself. the color after washing is so vibrant and much prettier in person. it was a fairly easy process. make sure you use decent gloves because if it rips the dye will stain your hands like it did for me. also protect your floors or whatever surface you're working on. the color lasts in her tail for months and when it fades it's a pretty pastel pink. i used about half the bottle for my medium pomsky. she's had no negative reaction to it.

This stuff is fantastic! I do a test on my boxer who sometimes has sensitive skin and he did not react at all. The brown goes on pretty dark if you wait the full 30 minutes. The black is great too.

I have used this twice on my dog! First we did Innocent Blue and then Adorable pink a couple months later after the blue had mostly faded. The blue was not super vibrant on his tail and appeared more teal due to the color of his fur (last photo of his normal tail for context). Definitely very vibrant and super blue on the whiter parts of his tail though. I dyed his tail in August and with regular monthly baths it had mostly faded on the darker parts of his tail but remained a nice light blue on the light parts by October. By December it had pretty much completely faded. Adorable Pink, on the other hand, VERY VIBRANT! Moreso magenta to be specific (unsure if thats just how the color looks or if it's due to his fur color). This was fairly recent so I'm unsure how it'll hold up. I was worried the color wouldn't set as I've heard some not so good things about pink dye ending up super light, that didn't happen though! It was much harder to wash off if I got it on the wrong spots than it was with the blue, even if I washed it off almost immediately. Absolutely no noticeable smell before or after. The dye is INCREDIBLY liquidy and messy. It's almost guaranteed you will make a mess, especially with an unpredictable animal being your muse. I recommend pouring it into a container before applying it rather than it straight from the bottle.

What happens when you retire from your job and you become completely bored? This. First off, let me say that this stuff is awesome! It far exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier with the results I got. My lab looks absolutely FABULOUS! My Chesapeake Bay Retriever got a tuxedo upgrade, and my Weimaraner. Well, he wasn't that cooperative when I tried to draw a heart on his head so he got what he got! I will.say though that this stuff is not for the faint of heart. All 3 of my dogs are somewhat poorly trained, meaning their ability to sit still is very limited. The only doggo that I *kind of* got to sit still was the CBR. If your dogs are like mine, be prepared for a rodeo and have your 409 (or cleaner of chpice) ready. I'd say that painting my lab turned into a horror show, but nothing about bright pink, purple, and blue being smeared on everything is even remotely violent looking. If anything, my floor and furniture got an upgrade along with the dog. Rinsing it out was extremely easy and fast. This is great when 2 of your 3 water dogs swear up and down that bath water is the worstest water and they think that they are simultaneously dieing while being rinsed off. This stuff came out of the shower without any scrubbing, but I also made sure to rinse any dye that got on the shower walls and whatnot as.soon as each dog was out of the tub. When my oldest child got home from school, she was hilariously mortified. Its been almost an hour and she is still demanding to know why I did this to her poor dog (lab). The weim now has a new (not so appropriate) nickname and the CBR looks extra refined with his new blue. I can't wait to see how my youngest reacts when she gets home from school. Now, today was application day and I can't speak for how long it will last, but I'll be honest- I won't be updating my review after this because IDC how long it stays. Its intent and purpose has been fulfilled. My child is permanently scarred for life, and my lab looks freaking FABULOUS!

I bought this to try to dye my dog. It was super simple and I didnt even have to put any lightener on her! No irritation whatsoever, no harsh chemical odor when applying, and it has lasted an extremely long time. The dye is easily washed off items and towels and countertops. It is so vibrant! It's lasted at least a couple months already.

Used on my black lab blue heeler cross on her grey and white patches. It was very vibrant on her for her being quite dark. It seems to last a while she’s had it on about 2 weeks and it hasn’t faded at all. It is pretty messy but does not stain the tub. It will stain your hands so wear gloves. The dye itself is pretty much the same thickness of hair dye. Not sticky at all. Just messy.

I LOVE this pet dye. I tried Critter Color previously and it was not good. OPAWZ is excellent though. Vibrant colour, easy to use, doesn't stink, did not irritate my dog's skin. She is black with a grey bum and tail and her back end looks so cute. I will definitely try this brand again.

Genial, lo compré para mi rottweiler porque de repente empezó a cambiarle el pelo a marrón y estaba muy rara, aunque el bote es pequeño y no me dio para todo el cuerpo jaja. Pero se ha quedado con el negro intenso que tenía antes, con brillo y no sé si fue gracias al tinte pero también dejó de caerse el pelo, que se le caía a cachos.

Worked really well!! Its VERY black, no skin reaction and the product didnt smell bad, i left it on for 10 minutes instead of 20 and it still worked
