These are so easy to use! You don't have to have any subscriptions to Roku or any other streaming services to use this, which is the best part. Roku also has their own app with free tv and movie channels! Have bought several of these and they take less than 5 minutes to install, which is awesome. The roku does need a USB port to plug into for power though so you can use your tv if ot is newer - that's really nice so that you don't have to use up an extra power outlet! If your tv doesn't have a usb port though, there are converters you can buy. Recommend roku!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love love love Roku! It is so simple to use and they have so many options of free streaming. My 6 year old can use it on his own and never has problems. It has a cord to plug into the wall and a cord that plugs into the tv. The little device needs to be facing out towards the room so the remote can connect, otherwise it’s a very simple setup. Just don’t lose the remote LOL. I want a Roku in every room!

I love Roku’s. They are cheap easy to install and work every time. This one is smaller than the ultra that I use in my living room. But it is for my son that I only have half the week. It has everything he needs to stream and more. He is loving it. Great buy.

I didn't know Rokus could be so cheap but this works so well. I haven't noticed a loss of quality, streaming, picture, or anything. You just plug it in and it's practically ready to go. You still need WiFi and the one downside of the express is that you can't turn the TV on with the Roku remote, but you can turn the TV off with the Roku remote. You will need a separate TV remote or you'll have to get up to turn it on. I'd say that's the only downside. I've also heard these can get really, really hot and crash out. We haven't experienced that although we only use it for 3-4 hours at a time, at the very most so if you're wanting to use this for long periods of time, maybe consider an upgrade.

We absolutely love our new Roku device! We own a smart TV but for some reason couldn't get it to connect to wifi for anything! I tried resetting the TV, searching online, couldn't figure it out. So when this went on sale for under $18, I ordered it and I'm so glad I did! It's been a game changer as far as how much variety we can choose from to watch, and alot of it, free!Setup was super easy, plug in, follow on screen steps, connect to wifi network and boom! You're up an running. We didn't have any issues with setup and we just bought another 2 devices, one for our bedroom TV, and another as a gift for a friend of ours who is not tech savvy, and if he can set this up, anyone can. I highly recommend this streaming device. The only difference between this one and the higher priced version is that the higher priced one has the remote that controls your TV volume as well. We're fine using our TV remote for that, so this was perfect! Don't hesitate if you're on the fence. We love our Amazon Roku Express.

Product works exactly as it says it does on my Samsung TV. The Samsung TV came with its own streaming device built in the TV. The Samsung device that came built into the TV is terrible. The ROKU device blows away the built in Samsung streaming device works way better than what came with the TV by far.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Super easy to set up. Best part... great if you have an airbnb or rental. You can set up a guest login. When they enter their check out date, all their passwords disappear! It's amazing! So no one uses your passwords to anything!
