ProCase Galaxy Note 8 Genuine Leather Case, Vintage Wallet Folding Flip Case with Kickstand Card Slots Magnetic Closure Protective Cover for Galaxy Note8 -Red

I like everything about this case except 2 small but gleaming factors IMHO. First the likes:- Nice leather feel. I know when the leather breaks in over time, it will have that "my hand" feel.- All the cutouts for camera, fingerprint sensor, USB-C jack etc...nicely trimmed and aligned.- I've had no problem with the fingerprint sensor. The case creates a slight indent but I use both pointer fingers depending on what hand I am holding the phone in and I trained the fingerprints in the natural way I hold the phone.- I use my finger nail to push in/out the Note 8 pen. Its a little recessed in but it feels okay accessing the pen and I make sure I indent it back in when stowing the pen.But the 2 dings....1: The Note 8 phone snaps into the holder pretty easy. Not as tight a fit as my previous case for my S8+. Just a minor ding is all....I could see this drop and if the case was open the phone might flop out. I have NOT experienced this, I am only speculating.2: Not enough generous leather "fold" between phone and protection over screen. It fits like a glove near perfect out of the box. I use 2 cards per sleeve slot. That's 6 cards plus my drivers license. If I add say 5 or more folded $ bills and slide them in the slot under the cards you can't close the case over the phone. If I add receipts I save for meals / entertainment during business trips it's even more problem closing the case issue It won't magnetic clip/grab at all. All it needs is a generous 1/4 to 5/16 inch or so of more leather in the fold and the purpose of the case would be perfect. If they did this, it might feel a bit sloppy with no cards / money in it out of the box but once you add "the purpose" for this case to it (cards and cash)...boom it would be a perfect product. Yep it would be a hefty weight in your hand but that is what makes the Note 8 feel like a solid product.I'll use this case. It is a nice quality look and feel. I also like the kickstand for watching youtube and such. I carry my phone EVERYWHERE as a habit. It never leaves my side and is on my front or breast pocket. I don't like carrying cards / cash in my back pocket thus no wallet.I'd buy this again...might get the red one fro my wife's Note 8.

We purchased eight different screen protectors to go on our new Note 8s, but had zero luck. They were all awful. We finally realized that the curved screen was just too much for the manufacturers. Next up: a case with a cover to protect the screen when not in use. I knew my keys were highy likely to scratch the screen when the phone is in my purse. This arrived today, and I can't believe how perfect it is. It is beautiful (or even handsome), fits like a glove, has a magnetic closure, and offers nice protection for my phone. This is probably the best purchase (out of 1,000+) that I have ever made on Amazon. Just buy it! You won't regret it.

So far so good. Package was on time. Solid product and it fits my NOTE 8 even with a Invisable Shield brand glass screen protector.

The case arrive in an elegant "gift giving" package that was well packed. I noted immediately excellent craftsmanship and sturdiness. The edge is double protected with another layer of leather. Sign of good workmanship. No short cuts taken. I wanted style and function and this cased meets both by far. It may be too thick for surface charger but that is not a concern for me. As a professional, it does present a challenge of reaching the fingerprint sensor in time if you keep you phone locked. A minor inconvenience. However, this case well exceeds my expectations for a case and not "gaudy or cheap" unit. I purchased this one just after a week with another case which did not meet my needs nor desires. I have NO issue recommending this case at its price point and like to see other products from the same supplier.

Ever since I bought the Galaxy Note 8, I have tried MANY different case styles, brands, and materials. (I like to change the look of the phone.) I have come to prefer the wrap-around protection of a folio case - particularly a leather one. These well-constructed cases (I bought all three colors), are not "cushy" but are made of a sturdy material covered in real - not PU - high grade, semi-matte leather. The rounded rather than squared corners fit the contour of the phone. The magnetic tabs are large enough to give a strong closure without interfering with the S pen function and without making the case aggravating to open. The front cover can be folded over the back of the case. However, wireless charging does not work with these cases. The hard plastic phone cradle is minimal and permits the phone to be placed and removed with little effort and yet holds the phone securely without touching any screen protectors. The phone cradle has cut outs so you press the actual phone controls. I can't comment on the credit card slots. I don't use them because I don't like bulky cases. I also can't comment on the kickstand function because I don't use it. If you want a good-looking, durable folio case which gives substantial protection without adding much bulk to the phone, these cases fit the bill.

Update on this....after a few months the case is completely falling apart and the magnet fell out. Very poor quality. The seller (Tech Vendor) refused to make good on it, stating that their warranty only covers the case if it arrives damaged, not the durability of it. Dropping the rating to one star. I would avoid this one, looks good at first but the quality is poor and the seller will not stand behind it.Love this case...it is of high quality and my Note 8 fits perfectly. I tried another one from another company but it gathered dirt and smudges very easily. This one offers great protection and looks very elegant.It does make the phone a little thicker, but IMO that's a fair trade-off for the protection it provides.Very satisfied with it and highly recommend it if you want a very well made, classy looking cover.

I don't often write reviews, if something is what i expected then meh so what? But i loved getting this case, it was delivered promptly and came beautifully packaged. It even has a nice, soft bag to keep it in for protection. A case for my case!! The case itself is well crafted with neat, tight stitching and the leather feels good, it looks expensive, which it wasn't! It is also practical with a nice magnetic clasp and you can fold it so your phone is supported for watching movies etc and you can keep your cards in the pockets inside. Buttons, especially the one on the right which is used most are easily accessible. The Galaxy Note 8 just looks like it belongs in there and it adds a nice touch of class. Highly reccomended, great value.

Well made and good looking. Slightly padded which makes it feel good but does add to its depth, especially if you are carrying cards in it. The magnetic catch works well but is two flaps rather than one flap/one fixed so it can interlace the wrong way round and not fasten.

Such a great product for my Note 8! Don't go for cheap imitations! This is worth the money!
