**Q: What time of pen/marker works the best for writing in this memory book since the pages are shiny? Links to appropriate pens would be appreciated, too!**
A: Actually my granddaughter wrote in her book with a brown crayon with no problems or smudging.  If I were to write in the book I would use a ball point pen,   Hope this helps you .  Love the memory Book...

**Q: Is there a way to add pages? If you want to start with daycare?**
A: Hi! There is no way to add pages, but it does start from preschool.

**Q: Do the photos have a protective sleeve to slide into, or will they need to be pasted on**
A: They need to be pasted on.  The pages themselves are made as a folder to store other items, but the spot where photos go on the pages does require attaching with glue or some other way.

**Q: I noticed the ad said #1 New Release, so is this one of the most updated school memory books available?**
A: Yes, i think so. I ordered one 10 years ago for my oldest, and this one is updated.
