Multi Color Halo Fog Lights w/Dual Control Compatible with 07-18 Jeep JK

I'd been considering these for a while and decided to order a set on Black Friday when the price dropped. The stock "projector" halogen headlights in my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude don't provide much confidence at night, so I usually drive with fog lights on. Other reviewers of the Xprite product reported a significant increase in brightness, exactly what I wanted. Although these lights are marketed for a Wrangler, they fit perfectly in my vehicle -- but if you decide to make a similar upgrade to your KL, come prepared with a 7 mm socket on a short 1/4" drive wobble extension ,required to remove the three screws holding each fixture in place. After taking off the tire, pull back the plastic fender liner -- an 8 mm socket is needed for that -- and you should have just enough access to make the swap. On the driver side, there's very little clearance from the washer fluid tank, and on the passenger side, you'll need to fit the wrench in front of the air filter intake tube. I used a ratchet as well as a nutdriver handle, and each side required lots of patience. No problems with the supplied wiring harnesses, however I put a light coating of silicone grease on each connector to help keep moisture out. Also used zip-ties to secure the wiring in such a way that water isn't likely to collect in the connectors. I've driven once so far on a dark, rainy night, and was very pleased with the LED brightness and color temperature, but in the process of installing these lights, I discovered a few things you might want to know. Before installation, I measured the input current of each lamp at 1.4 amps when fed from a 13.8 volt DC supply. This works out to 19.3 watts, rather than 60 watts as advertised. The stock halogen lamps measured 1.8 amps at the same voltage, about 25 watts. Since the LEDs are at least three times brighter (and more efficient), I guess the "60 watt" claim refers to equivalence with a 60 watt halogen lamp, not the actual power consumption. Yeah, I'm being picky. More concerning (to me) is RF interference when the LEDs are on. There's apparently a PWM regulator in each fixture that generates some garbage in the VHF range; this causes a noticeable noise increase in the amateur 6 and 2 meter bands. So far, I haven't heard a problem in the HF or UHF ranges, but later this week when I make adjustments to the beam alignment, I'll snap a ferrite choke on each cable and see if that helps. Although most users don't care about RFI, I wish LED product manufacturers would pay more attention to filtering. I've had similar trouble recently with LED trailer lights. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase and will update this review if any problems arise.

These are great fog lamps! Plug and play install in about an hour. I'd say they are at least twice bright as the stock lamps. I haven't run them in foul weather yet, but the conspicuity (visibility to others) is bold without being blinding. I've had white fog lamps before, and they just turn the fog bank into a fog wall that you can't see through. Amber is better, and I bet these will really cut through. I'll update after the first fog. Install would have been easier with the bumper off, but it wasn't that bad. I left the bumper on and just worked "blind." The first one took me about 45 minutes alternating loud cursing and zen meditation. The second one took about ten minutes. I guess I just got the hang of putting tiny nuts on tiny screws without having to actually see them. Wiring harness is good quality, but I taped them up and zip-tied everything down to the existing harnesses.

Wow. I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of these and they light output isn't as cool-white as I expected (thankfully). The retrofit was a breeze and only took about an hour. As you can see from the photos, the beam is wide, bright and consistent; much more-so than my previous 35w H3 HID retrofit. I can't speak yet on the longevity or durability of these led fog lights, but the look & feel pretty well built. They go fairly well with my 35 watt 5000k hid headlights. *3 week update* I ordered another set of these for a buddy's car and while testing them, I noticed the ones on my car have become a little whiter since I first installed them. Still no problems as of yet. I drive ~600 miles a week and always have my lights on. I have them adjusted at 3 inches down at a 25 foot distance, which seems to be the best for the height they're mounted at. *4 month update* Still no issues with dimming, flickering or leaking and they've seen lots of use & water. The lenses have a lot of little scratches, but they don't seem to hinder the output. I've since upgraded to piaa 6000k h4 led's and morimoto 5000k white/Amber switchback led's and they all sorta match

The halo rings are super bright and look really nice when they are lit up. I love the color changing halos and turn signal switch backs. They fit better then the stock fog light. The wiring for them was simple enough and seem pretty durable but time will tell. The adjustability for them is pretty good also. They fit they 03/04 mustang terminator cobra front bumper. Definitely recommend

I purchased these based on all the positive reviews they had previously gotten and they are attractive and bright. They do not fit identically to original equipment. When you insert them into the aperture in the bumper they are about 3/8" short of the shoulder of the bumper where they are suppose to sit. Ok, not really a big deal and unless you really know these vehicles you probably wouldn't notice it. So sue me I'm a bit of a stickler for these things. That is really the only real issue. I did try to install them without removing the bumper but in the end simply took the bumper off to install, this made the installation very easy, unfortunately I spent about 45 minute beating my head against the undercarriage, literally. I'll use them for a while and see how they do. I'll update this if there are any changes.

Xprite brand overall seems to be pretty good. We have had some issues with they rgb function or dying out, but no problem replacing them.

Fit in my 2011 wrangler to replace the OEM fog lights. Exactly what we were hoping for. Happy with the look and fit.

These are for a JK, I have a JLU, but I have an aftermarket bumper which is why I bought JK lights. I have bought 4 pairs of fog halos in the past and they haven’t lasted in the past. As of right now, they exceed my expectations! Very bright, easy to install! The instructions are a little off but if you have experience they are super easy! I am just hoping they last!

Compared to the stock fog lights, there's no comparison obviously. The construction is solid and higher quality than some I've seen, and they're not just brighter, they also have a wider view pattern, so I'm able to see a wider area of the road before. Installation was a snap...literally plug-n-play and they were easy to adjust. I'm definitely an Xprite customer going forward! UPDATE - I paired them with a set of Opar LED headlights, and together they fill the road with light without blinding oncoming traffic. UPDATE - Sept 5/2018 - Noticed some fogging and water leakage in one of the lights. All it means is the seal has finally let go and the affected light needs to be dried out and re-sealed. I've used these NON-STOP for almost 2 years driving regularly...and I would only replace these with these again. They're very much worth getting.
