KANIS Professional Dog Washing Station 304 Stainless Steel Pet Wash Sink

I am not a dog groomer so I was questioning whether I should get something this "big and fancy" but we set it up yesterday and I doubt my decision NO MORE! I have two 45 lb. cowdogs and a huge 90 lb. Malamute cross. I bought the 50" unit and all 3 fit inside nicely, one at a time, of course! We live on a cattle ranch so they get really muddy and dirty all the time. I will probably use this thing daily! Very little set up - you only have to attach the basin unit to the legs/drawer which are already one unit and then put on the back and sides. Hooking up the water and drain was easy but I will say my husband is experienced in that type of stuff. The ramp is so smooth to lower and raise...I think its a lot easier for dogs to walk the ramp rather than steps. The slatted trays in the bottom keep the dogs up out of any mud or dirt left in the bottom of the tub. The fixtures are sturdy and easy to use. The shower wand slides in and out smoothly without catching or hanging up. The drain cup catches hair, mud clumps or pebbles so my drain doesn't get clogged. I love the rail on the back so I can tie the dogs while bathing. The ramp seals firmly when raised so I haven't seen any leaking. The big drawer slides smoothly and is a nice feature for towels, shampoo, wash gloves, etc. Not gonna lie, this bath is big...it takes up a lot of room in my basement bathroom but its totally worth it! No more washing feet one at a time with a little foot scrubber that doesn't get them clean or bending over a bathtub trying to get them washed. SO much easier to have them at waist level while washing! And easy to blow dry in there...I just do one side then turn around and do the other! All the water droplets stay in the tub so I don't have a wet floor to mop up after. It was an investment in money and space but it was totally worth it. The great overall quality of this product makes it worth every penny!

This tub systems is all we could have wanted and more! We have two 85lb Golden Retrievers and the 50" tub easily accommodates them. We will use this tub frequently!!!Things we like about the Kanis tub and why we chose it over the others are: 1. Height - I'm 6'6" and wife is 5'5" and we both can manage washing the dogs alone. Tub height keeps you from getting wet! 2. Adjustable Feet - for leveling your tub on any type flooring (our floor isn't level); 3. Adjustable ramp with anti slip sections - instead of steps. This is built into the door. Simply lift up and swing down, pulling the inner panel out to where you need it. The dog has good traction to enter and exit tub. 4. The adjustable floor panels are nice and sturdy - the stainless steel frame they sit in has handles that don't get in the way and make it easy to lift out. We use them on the floor of the tub, but there are two other levels you can put these at. 6. Flexibility - the sink can be used as an oversized sink to clean anything. The faucet swivels out of the way when you are washing your dog. Hose nozzle sprayer - plenty of spray volume and reach to wet & rinse. There is a soap dispenser too! 7. Nice big storage drawer. and 8. My wife says don't forget to add how easy to clean it is!You'll want to replace the temporary plumbing that comes with it when you permanently place your tub. We placed ours where a utility sink used to sit so already had the needed hook ups and drain pipe. Most DYI folks can easily achieve this with basic plumbing knowledge. We added a trap and clean out valve where our plumbing meets the wall.This tub will see a lot of use and we believe it will stand up very well and live up to our expectations.

This sink is heavy duty, a lot sturdier than I expected. We have 2 Weims, 60-70lbs and they both fit in the sink without issue. One can sort of walk around. The adjustable bottom is perfect to be able to use the sink for other things like washing car parts or outside items instead of using the hose. The assembly was easy enough and found the faucet to be suitable and easy to use the pullout hand washer. The bottom inserts have a nice nonslip coating. The drop down door is easy to use- although it is slick! I ended up putting a towel over it after one dog slid down. The side storage area is perfect for towels. We did hook the pump up to a gallon jug and it doesn’t have a significant output, but could be the shampoo is too thick and we set it on the ground. Overall the sink parts and function have been excellent! The only thing I would say is not the greatest is the drain - it takes a long time to drain and it never fully drains- the drain slope isn’t quite aggressive enough but not a big enough concern to impact the overall sink.

We are owners of a large dog that likes to roam around our back yard and often gets muddy. Overtime, giving him baths in a regular tub had become hard on everyone's' back and honestly just too messy. So, I started looking for a sink that we could install in our garage, and get him cleaned up before going into the house. I honestly looked everywhere, initially starting with cheaper versions such as mop sinks at local hardware stores, and some others. I found this sink on Amazon , as well as a few other sites. Reviews were good, and sink actually looked like a well made product. The price was initially intimidating, but once I calculated the years of use I will get out of it, I found out that sink will pay itself back in less that 2 years.So, we went with it. It arrived on time, and was delivered where we asked them to. Per our contractor and plumber, it was pretty straight forward to install. We tucked it into a corner of our garage, and I smile every time I see it, as it looks amazing. The quality is visible. So far, we have used it for anything from dog washing, to washing ourselves after working in the yard, washing shoes, filling up our lobster boiling over-sized pot. In short, this sink was my best investment in a while.Just had to share how well this product worked out for us, as lately most things don't. I highly recommend it, as well as their customer service that was impeccable....5 star review all the way!

I bought the 50" version which is plenty big enough to accommodate any dog smaller than a pony. Maybe for Great Danes or St. Bernards, you'd want the 60". What I like: the adjustable floor height, the length of the sprayer, the metal surrounds, the big drawer, the ease of opening and closing the ramp, that there is no leakage when the ramp is closed. What I don't like: getting my fingers pinched moving the flooring because the handles go right up against the walls, and to reach and fill the soap dispenser in the back you have to pull the entire unit out from the wall. To solve the first problem I will attach a strap to the handles. To solve the second problem, I won't be using the soap dispenser at all. Otherwise, I am very happy with this dog washing station.

This is a super dog wash station. We removed a utility sink from our laundry room and installed it ourselves in a couple of hours. It is very sturdy and the ramp makes it so easy for the pups to walk up and in. I love that you can choose exactly where along the back you want your controls to go. There are 10 holes and the plugs to cover the ones you don’t use aren’t just press in. They actually have a stem and screw into place! The sprayer has a nice long hose. The soap dispenser comes with a bottle or a nice weighted hose that you can just run into your shampoo bottle! I am not a groomer just a mom to two long-haired Tibetan Terriers. There were cheaper alternatives but this is money well spent for us. You can choose what side the ramp is on and one or two storage drawers. No more bending over in the shower! (Note- the blue grates the dogs stand on are not in place in this picture nor is the ramp down)

We purchased the Kanis 38" dog bathing station to bathe two Shetland Sheepdogs. It is perfectly sized for a Sheltie and was skillfully designed and made with top rate materials. As seen in the photo, we replaced a garage utility sink and counter with the Kanis tub, installing tile behind it and retaining part of the previous cabinet and counter resulting in a very handsome addition to our garage that will surely add to our home's value. We think it's a selling advantage for any home owner, as what dog lover wouldn't jump at the chance of having a dog washing station in their home? Although we removed the old utility sink, we didn't lose that function, as the Kanis tub serves both as a smartly designed dog washing tub that is also utility sink, potting bench and grooming station. Kanis' customer support was absolutely first rate and unexpectedly helpful. They sent an extra soap bottle so that we could have both shampoo and conditioner at the ready when washing our dogs (the tub comes pre-drilled for up to four additional bottles). One thing to note is that if your drain pipe hole is high - as ours is - the tub needs to be raised for the water to drain. We had our carpenter craft 4" risers (though blocks of wood would have worked just fine) to lift the tub so that water smoothly flows down into the drain pipe and thus not back up. Kanis has designed a trap on their drain which allows it to be cleared of any dog hair that might collect in the trap. We looked at a lot of dog washing stations, but these folks have really put thought into creating an exceptional tub. Superb, just superb.

This dog washing station certainly serves a dual purpose as an everyday sink and the convenience of a dog washing station. It was very easy to install with great directions and a tutorial.I did have an issue with threading the 3 hoses through the brass thread fitting, but customer service responded immediately! (Thanks Alex). I would also add that the flexible plumbing hose is a temporary part and will need to be upgraded.Alex, if you are reading this, please encourage the company to upgrade the plumbing hose connection!I purchased the 50”, which is definitely large enough to accommodate virtually any size dog, although read the weight limit to confirm. Based on the quality and stability of the unit, I’m guessing you could wash a pony in it! 😂Overall, I give this a 10/10. It was easy to install, great customer service and an incredibly quality, multi purpose washing station and sink!While it is a bit pricey, it is worth every penny! BTW, it arrived the next day through Amazon Prime, which I enjoy …Enjoy!RJ
