can anyone tell me if this is solely a nightlight and control button for that nightlight, or does it also turn on or off your room lights in same spot

Switch on the bottom half connects to light, vent, etc. Light is operated by pressing the light itself with OFF and 4 brightness settings. Know that when the switch is turned on, the light will go out regardless of what the switch is attached to. For instance, our switch operates a bathroom vent. If the "nite light" is on and the fan is turned on, the nite light will go out. Once the fan is turned off, nite light comes back on. Nite light also has a light sensor so that if a light is turned on (unrelated to the switch) or the sun is out, etc., the Nite light will go back out. A lot of info here and maybe more than you wanted but it you have any questions, please reach out.

Does this switch have a auto on sensor?

Yes, this switch has a sensor to detect the ambient light in the room. You can also adjust the light levels (ultra low, low, medium, or high) or turn off the nightlight if desired.

What is the color temp of the led? what is the cri rating? what is the lumen output? thanks.

The lumen output will vary depending on what setting you have the nightlight on. High = 13.4 lumens, Medium = 9.6 lumens, Low = 4.3 lumens, Ultra Low = 1.2 lumens
