Hill's Science Diet Puppy Wet Dog Food

We have a new Yorkie puppy. Both the breeder and the vet said this was a good brand and nutritious. Does it taste good? I have no idea, but the puppy likes it, as does our ten year old Maltese who likes to supervise meal times. ;)

A great healthy choice for my pup.

Science Diet dog food has always been my dog food of choice. Three little dogs were raised from puppyhood to adulthood on this food. Rarely a Vet bill except for the normal shots. Very healthy and beautiful dogs grew up on this food. However..this last little one who will be 1 year in June, has stopped eating it and won't touch it. I am not sure why. I have tried all sorts of ways of fixing it. I feed both the dry and wet food..in different bowls. He prefers the cats food to his own and I am at a loss as what to do. So..reluctantly I am changing. That being said..I would still highly recommend this dog food as it has served my pets well. I am now looking for a food that will appeal to my little Yorkie..and so far..nothing but the cats food will do..and he CANNOT have that. Wish me luck!

This blend tends to be dry. Everyone recommended it, but unanimously advised to add chicken broth to the mix. It is nutrient rich and hearty food. My one complaint is that it only comes in one favor for puppy food. After weeks of feeding the same food I found my pup was getting bored of it, leaving portions uneaten. It is not inexpensive either. I started adding fresh elements; peas n carrots, small diced sweet potatoes and added protein, chicken, shredded cheese, salmon bits bacon pieces, etc. just to excite get Pallet. But for a mainstream food this is the GOLD standard.

I can't comment on the taste but my pups and the mother lapped it up so I believe it was satisfying. I mixed with milk replacement when they were old enough and kept them on until transition to solids. For 6 pups and a mom I used the case within a weeks time it's pricey but worth it. No skin or allergy problem for my Yorkie/Chihuahua mixed pups

Originally ordered case in March 2020 for our new puppy, she really likes this food & was highly recommended by our vet! First case ordered was shipped in box everything great! Just placed another order couple of days ago, shipped in plastic bag, received later than said, cans were warm, bag filthy, cans dented & mangled! Requested reorder, received today...shipped in plastic bag, cans were very warm, same issues! I called Hills & they stated food could be compromised depending on damage to can & what temperature & how long it sat in heat! Why anyone would think shipping 12lbs of canned food in a plastic bag is a good idea is beyond! This is a waste of everyone’s time, money & product! Will not be ordering from you again! Will go to local pet store a buy a case of cool/un-dented cans!

My puppy loves it , except may be a bit chunky so I have to mash it up a bit ( but he is fussy)

Purchased (2 dozen) 24 Tins ! They are completely different texture and colour compared to the same tins purchased at vet clinic. Puppies don’t like this tin food, if I feed the puppies they are having stomach upset .. I was very disappointed that I spent money for 24 tins which was 30c per tin cheaper In amazon website .. Now i have to get it from Vet clinic

I was told this is the best can food for dogs that have skin problems, so I don't want to go threw the same as my last dog. My pup Rupper really loves this dog food.
