I have a 7lb Chihuahua and while these treats are big for her, but they hold together really well so I can slice them up small for training treats. Their shape makes them really easy to cut/break into smaller pieces and do a training session. They are a bit stinky but "smokey", not in a gross way like some treats, and my dogs go crazy for them. I also love that they are made with cricket protein, making them not only good for my dog but good for the planet as well. I do wish that Jiminy's made some really tiny treats for training toy breeds - I have yet to find anything that I can feed right out of the bag. I'm a bit tired of cutting up treats, but these are THE easiest to cut.

These treats are just great! All three of the flavors smell tasty enough that I've been tempted to try one myself. Our little puppy just goes nuts when he smells one of these things; they've become our go-to high-value treat for training and reward purposes. I love that they're made with sustainable crickets, so we're helping the environment while giving puppy something tasty to snack on. My only mild frustration was that they do tend to dry out after a few days if you're opening the bag frequently. We've addressed this by keeping the bag tightly sealed with all the air pushed out of it, and we keep the bag in the fridge once it's been opened. We do keep a small jar on the counter with a day's worth of treats in it, and we just refill the jar so the treats won't dry out. That's really helped, and the treats usually stay fresh until we hit the bottom of the bag. Speaking of which, don't throw out that dust in the bottom of the bag! We pour it over puppy's kibble or just let him eat those delicious remnants out of our hands, and he loves it. Good to the very last crumb! I definitely give these my highest recommendation and will continue buying these for our puppy as long as he continues to love them.

Insects are sustainable and less impact on the environment than other proteins. And these are small enough that my dog doesn't get fat!

We have bought these treats in the local store they were soft enough to sqish when squeezed between your fingers.Our little 11 year old dog loves them soft and easy to chew. When we got our bags of these treats they are hard. Difficult for our dog to chew. Will need to find another local store that is carrying them.
