No, it’s held in with a clip. you’ll need the rubber O ring. You could probably get away with re-using the old one, but it should have come with a new one. You could get one from the parts store or harbor freight.

2000 toyota sienna uses ect switch no.1 and no. 2 to control fan speed. does one doicoo ect switch do that? two? two different model switches?

Toyota uses multiple temperature sensors. One of them on the block is strictly for dashboard. The other one on the block is for the ECM. The one on the radiator is the coolant fan switch which controls the fan activation.

2000 toy sienna uses 2 temp control switches which control speed - radiator fans. will this part function in place of both switches for fan control??

Fan control switch is mounted to the radiator. The my 02 camry cng has 3temp sensors. The 2 on the thermostat housing are for ECM data and for the instrument cluster gauge
