How close of a shave does it provide? Stubble? Smooth?

About a day or two of normal facial hair growth long, so maybe 1/64" [0.5mm] to 1/32" [1mm]. Not a razor shave at all, but I do like how you can gradually increase on the fly the heights to get a more gradual transition from very stubble short 0.5mm [1/64"] to 7mm [1/4"] with the shortest of the 2 attachments just by turning the dial on the unit from 1 to 10.

How close does this shave, in millimeters?

Don't know about millimeters, but it shaves close enough to leave a shadow. Won't leave you with a smooth shave.

How long does it take to charge?

When we first got it I left it on charger over night then when he uses it it takes about 30 Mins to fully chargw
