Has anyone else experienced the girls head not moving like its supposed to?

Yes when the animation goes off he lifts her body up and starts to speak to her which is normally when she raises her head to look at him. That's not happening. Also when the animation is done and he sucks the soul out of her once she's drained her head drops before he lowers her. The head is not dropping on mine. Those are the problems that I'm having is her head not raising or dropping when it is supposed to. I came here for answers, sadly it looks like you're dealing with the same thing I guess.

Does it require a specific fog machine, or will any do?

Yes, most will work to send fog up the tube but many do not have the electronic cord plug in that connects to the animatronic to tell it to release the fog at the correct time with the voice over, highly recommend purchasing the one that goes with the animatronic otherwise you are standing there pushing the remote at the correct time!

How is it in rainy weather if used outside? Is it water resistant at all?

No. (Can’t confirm that). The directions clearly state to keep it out of rain
