I like my cocktails, one or two( on weekends), as I like my bourbon but don't like to be drunk. The little buzz you get after the first few sips is about it. All the papers I've read show it's been proven over the last 30 yrs that H. Dulcis reduces ALDH quickly in the liver and blood. It's been used in China for a millennium. I'm eating a keto diet and alcohol is not recommended due to the way metabolizes, it basically sabotages any progress you might make. Hence the purchase of this, as an experiment to see if works. I take a half to one 20-30 minutes before a cocktail or glass of wine. The next day ketosis is still in effect, therefore it's not metabolizing into ALDH. I seem to feel the effects of the alcohol less, which is good in my book. Still get the buzz from the alcohol that gets absorbed through the mouth and stomach lining, I think about 10% if I remember right, but it lasts perhaps an hour and goes away. Nice. I understand your blood alcohol level does not change that quick, so no taking this and drinking and driving. Also, no headaches, no liver damage etc., if it works as all the articles I've read state, that includes Pubmed and Semantic Scholar papers. I've been buying this brand because of the content, it's much more economical than the others and in my opinion works better.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to work to enhance sleep and fight off brain fog

My wife and I have used these now on a handful of weekends. We are taking one within 20-30 minutes of drinking and another after 3 drinks if we are going to have another 1-3 drinks. Whisky has been the source of alcohol. Usually sipped over an evening at home so nothing taken to any extreme but enough that the body is still having to process a lot of those negative elements. We have noticed that sleep is sounder and the brain fog and fatigue we might at times experience the next day is not occurring if we take these. I held out on reviewing this just to “experiment” over a couple weekends to were I felt comfortable in saying without taking these I would have had some of those slow mornings and I did not. I have not tried any other brand yet. These are listed with the most DHM out of any other product for the same price and at least from doing my own online research is the dose I think is probably right after considering a lot of oral supplements don’t have great bioavailability. Update: According to Amazon I have bought this 13 times so far and I will be buying more. I have used other brands and think DHM in general is great but this brand is still my go to. Better sleep and less brain fog are still the two big things I get from this supplement. I tend to take 1 per drink but most o& what I drink tend# to be higher proof whiskey, and admittedly would be more than 1.5 ounces per pour. Obviously drink responsibly but even on light drinking nights, I feel this is helping me be healthier. Update 2: I am not sure if I should laugh or be concerned but it now seem like I have ordered this 24 times. Even with a drink or two I take one of these or I give one to my wife. Still seems to work very well for both of us. I will continue to order.
