Will this remove mold from my washer?

We recommend white distilled vinegar. Add 1/3 of a cup of the vinegar in your bleach dispenser with every load.

Can this be used to clean the washing machine from previous detergents that caused skin reactions / hives?

I use it now as my regular detergent and it has removed the odors and the film and gunk that always built up around the window and seal in my front load washer. I am Uber sensitive to most every detergent and this one has not bothered my nose or skin!
