iOttie Adhesive Dashboard Pad for Car Mounts Dashboard Pad, Black , 3.1"L

I previously purchased a phone holder & the additional flat plate mount for the dash & they did not work. I tried several times in different areas on day & they just not adhere to the dash after cleaning several times with alcohol. The continues to fall off. But not this set!! PERFECT!!!! This is a must have!!!

Simple and ease to use. It holds for a long time but can/does need replaced after a 1 year or 2 depending. F-150 slightly texture dash with phone mount holds strong despite rough roads paved or dirt. Phone mount suction cup lets go first on the rare occasion. Make sure to really clean the surface and slightly warm dash surface helps. Firm downward pressure for 20-30 seconds and should be all set.

It worked well but had to let it go with the car I sold.

I only gave it 4 of 5 for suction as it doesn't actually have any suction, but it allows the iOttie suction cup to work properly. I haven't used it for that long to see how well it holds up, especially in hot dashboard sun or below zero cold. If you need to remove the old one (or this one) they say to use dental floss, but I found the floss breaks and cuts into your hands before you get it off. Instead, I used 30lbs braided fishing line, and used gloves and/or tie each end around a stick or spoon. ----------------- It worked fine until the summer and the adhesive on the bottom gave out, with the iOttie attached. It just does not seem to handle the heat. I tried Shoe Goo and that didn't work either. It might be fine if 75 degrees (F) and below, but 80 - 120 on a hot summer day it can't handle it. I'm still giving it 4/5 stars for the cooler months.

Good product

This product doesn't work on leather dashbroad. The the suction cup on the holder works well. This should be put in the description of the product, telling that it will not stick to leather dashbroad.

It stick great, but is very difficult to remove. Description says it's reusable, but it would restick after washing.

5 stars for product. For delivery, fail. Although driver took pic of package in front my apt door. It actually wasn't there. I found it sitting on top of the mail receptacle where mail is put into unit boxes by postal service. Lucky I thit to look up and out of curiosity, ipulkexit down and looked at address. Sure enough, it wad my delivery m. Don't know what happened, but hope it doesn't become the norm!
